Walkthroughs for some of the miscellaneous quests that are not part of the three main series from the Dibella's Watch plugin for Oblivion.

If it isn't done earlier, this quest will need doing during the Main Series quest The Messenger in order to complete that one.

Sir Roger Easton in Eastwatch CastleCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdThe quest is started by going to Castle Eastwatch. Speak to Sir Roger Easton in Eastwatch Hall. He wants you to convince the Captain of his guard to retire.

Guard Captain Lars in Fort EastwatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd"I have spoken to the Lord of Eastwatch. He tells me to go talk to the guard captain and do something for him to get his mood up. The Captain was an important man in the late Lord Eastwatch's life, and the new Lord Easton doesn't just want to fire the old captain just because of that. The new lord is a party animal and tells me the old captain is ruining the atmosphere as the constant partying in Eastwatch is going on."

Governor Actius in Port Constanze on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdGo and speak to Guard Captain Lars in Eastwatch Barracks, and he asks you to go to Port Constanze for him and gives you the Letter to Port Constanze to deliver to the governor. Find Governor Actius, who may be in the Governor's House in Port Constanze, and speak to him. he takes the letter and gives you the Constanze Farm Key.

"The Governor of Port Constanze has told me that the Guard Captain at Eastwatch is more than welcome to retire and settle in the house outside town. The house was even awarded to the Captain for free and as a reward for long service. This should make him very happy."

Return to Guard Captain Lars at Eastwatch. He takes the key and thanks you,

"The Guard Captain thanked me for my help in the matter and has gone to move into his new house and live there for the remaining years of his life. He told me to tell Lord Eastwatch to get a new guard captain too."

Now go and see Sir Roger again, who thanks you. This completes the quest - there is no reward although, as mentioned, this quest is necessary to complete The Messenger.

The Location of Fort Azur on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdThe Pirate's Treasure

Guard Zoma in Fort AzurCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdThis is started by going to Fort Azur and speaking to Guard Zoma. Zoma is a guard, so be aware that if you have a bounty, you will have to pay it, go to jail or resist arrest, before you can speak to him about the quest. Paying the bounty is in this case the best option, although you will probably want to store any stolen items first. If you have no bounty, ask Zoma "Need my help?"

"Pirate Jwoona in Fort AzurCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdAt Fort Azur I met a guard who needs help with the interrogation of a certain prisoner. The prisoner was a part of a pirate crew led by a famous chief who is now dead. The prisoner won't speak to the guards, who need to find the Pirate Chief's old sword to prove that he really is dead."

The Location of the Pirate's Ship on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdEnter the room Zoma is standing next to and speak to Pirate Jwoona. He gives you the Pirate's Key and tells you that the sword is hidden near the wrecked ship.

"I have spoken to the prisoner at Fort Azur. He has given me a key to the Pirate Chief's stash and told me that I can have the treasure. the prisoner just doesn't want the law to get all the gold. Obviously the treasure is hidden at the stranded Pirate Ship on the coast to the southwest of Fort Azur."

Speak to Zoma again now.

The Hollow Rock Location on the Local MapCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd"The guard at Fort Azur has sent me looking for the shipwreck the prisoner was talking about. I should look around there and see if I can find the treasure."

The Hollow Rock from The Pirate's TreasureCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdNow make your way to the ship. Near it is a Hollow Rock, which the key you were given will open. Take the Pirate Chief's Sword - you can keep anything else that is in the rock - and return to Fort Azur and speak to Zoma. He takes the sword and lets the pirate go, completing the quest.

You can see Guard Zoma after the quest in the Dibella's Watch Castle of Castle Mournrest, guarding the Count. If you speak to him, he tells you that he got promoted because of the success with the pirate.

The Location of Scarley Castle on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdRuling Scarleyshire

Councillor Berne in Scarley CastleCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd

Although this quest is not in the Main Quest series, it can only be started after the quest The Battle of Grandoak Cross after you have been appointed Master of Scarleyshire.

Go to Scarley Castle and speak to Councillor Berne to start the quest.

"I have been welcomed to Scarleyshire by the Councillor, and I have taken my rightful position as the ruler of this Shire."

You can now proceed with the Main Quest Hostage Crisis. Councillor Berne tells you that you can build a windmill for Scarleyshire for 5,000 Gold. Agreeing to do so will cause the windmill to be built.

"We have built a windmill in Scarleyshire."

The Town of Al-Raj on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd

Freeing Al-Raj

Nicolas Sengousie in Al-Raj in Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdTo start this quest, speak to Nicolas Sengousie in Al-Raj, who is likely in his house. The town of Al-Raj is under the grip of a slave trader who is about to sell Nicolas's daughter. He wants you to help.

Gro-Hargh the Slaver in Al-RajCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdGo to the Slave Trade Station and speak to Gro-Hargh the Slaver. Tell him "You should free the Sengousie girl" and then "I'm not going anywhere slaver." Gro-Hargh then runs outside the building. Follow, and the Slaver's Mercenary will approach, so you will have to kill him.

The Slaver's Mercenary in Al-RajCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd"The Slaver's Mercenary lies dead in the streets of Al Raj! I shall now free the slaves, and most specifically, Sengousie's daughter."

Go back into the Slave Trade Station and speak to Lene Sengousie.

"Nicolas' daughter is now free from slavery. I should go back to him and report these happy news."

Lene Sengousie in the Slave Trade Station of Al-RajCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdSpeak to the other slaves and tell them that they are also free, then return to Nicolas. He thanks you and gives you the Slaver's Key, which opens the door to the Slave Trader's Base to the south. This completes the quest. The quest needs to be done to progress in The Lawman of Al-Raj.

The Ganton Brothers in Al-RajCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdThe Ganton Brothers

This quest is started by speaking to Crusader Ortho after completing Freeing Al-Raj when you are at the relevant point in The Lawman of Al-Raj. Ortho tells you that the Ganton Brothers are causing trouble in the town. The three brothers, Weyn, Norca and Roger Ganton, can be easily found on the town's streets. Speak to Roger.

"The Ganton Brothers have challenged me to a duel. I am to meet them out by the Minotaur Farm at eight in the morning to decide who will rule this town - the Ganton Brothers, or the Law."

Meet them at the rear of the Minotaur Farm at 8AM. When they arrive, kill them all, and then return to Ortho to complete the quest. Ortho gives you a pair of Personal Crusader's Gauntlets as a reward and you can now proceed with The Lawman of Al-Raj.
