Walkthroughs for quests from the Oblivion plugin Knights of the Nine Revelation.


"I've woken up in a dark place. The air is stale and thick with dust."

After Sir Gareth struck you at the end of Auriel's Bloodstone, you wake up to find that Naomi is in the room with you. Speak to her to find out what has happened.

If you ask about "Knights of the Nine" she tells you of the attack on the Priory by Sir Gareth's troops, Ayleid Soldiers and Aurorans.

If you ask "Why were you at the Priory?" she says that she was there for safety.

She then says she owes you an apology. When you ask about the "Apology" she explains that she didn't tell you the truth earlier, and that she is in fact the last living descendent of St. Alessia. Her telling you this finally completes the quest Descendent of Alessia.

Sir Amiel's TombCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdIn the ruined Priory Undercroft are a Chest and an Armoury. If you have no equipment, after Gareth took the relics from you, you are going to need what's in them, but as mentioned the previous quest, it would have been a good idea to stock up on other equipment first. Take what you need to equip yourself. You now need to get out of here. Activating Sir Amiel's Tomb causes his spirit to appear.

Sir Amiel walks to where some loose bricks are in the ruined cellar and vanishes.

Loose BricksCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdActivating the bricks causes them to crumble away. Climb through the opening to the Priory well, then climb the ladder to the surface. When you enter the Priory's grounds from the well, you see it in ruins and your log updates.

"The Priory of the Nine has been burned to the ground! I should check if any Knights of the Nine survived the attack."

There are two Ayleid Soldiers and one Auroran in the grounds who will attack you when they see you. Sir Brelin approaches you and tells you that the Order has regrouped in an Abandoned Shack, and he will lead you there. Once there, enter the shack.

This completes the quest.

Speak to Sir Thedret, who will approach you if you don't. You can ask him about various topics. He tells you that the Crusader's Relics are in Sir Gareth's castle, Castle Relleis, and he tells you where the castle is. There is some more equipment in the chest in the shack which you should resupply from if you need to.

Apparently, Sir Areldur has disguised himself as an Ayleid and has infiltrated the castle, and is poisoning the water to make the eventual attack easier. Meanwhile, Sir Geimund and Sir Gukimir are scouting outside the castle.

Sir Thedret will ask you if you are ready to commence the raid on the castle. Once you are ready, agree to start the Raid on Castle Relleis.

When you are ready to attack Sir Gareth's castle, tell Sir Thedret so in order to start.

"I am now leading the Knights of the Nine to the rendezvous point just south of Castle Relleis where Sir Geimund and Sir Gukimir are waiting."

Sir Geimund and Sir GukmirCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdGo to a point near the castle where Sir Geimund and Sir Gukimir are waiting and speak to either of them. When you are ready to start the attack, say "Send the signal." Shortly after the signal is sent, your log will update.

"Sir Areldur has lit three torches on the south wall of Castle Relleis. This is the signal that he is about to raise the portcullises and it's now time to attack. Our first objective is to secure the castle courtyard."

The first step is to enter the castle courtyard and defeat the Aurorans and Ayleid Soldiers there. Once they are all defeated, Sir Thedret will approach you. and discuss how the attack will proceed from here. Until the enemies are defeated, you cannot enter the castle.

"The courtyard has been secured. Sir Thedret and Sir Carodus will lead their teams to secure the barracks and guesthouse respectively while I'll proceed to the main hall with Sir Lathon and Naomi. Sir Areldur is already inside disguised as an Ayleid, so I should be careful not to accidentally attack him."

Now enter the main hall and defeat the two Ayleid Soldiers and two Aurorans, one of whom is a mage, making sure you don't attack Sir Areldur, who approaches once the enemy troops are all dead.

"I've found Sir Areldur in the main hall and he reports that Gareth is in the basement. I'll head down to apprehend Gareth while the rest of the Knights regroup and storm the upper castle."

Gareth's PortalCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdNow go to the basement, and defeat the two Aurorans, one of which is a mage, that you find there. Sir Gareth is in an area in the centre of the room behind some gates with levelled locks. When you open them, you are informed that Gareth is entering the portal, and when you approach the portal yourself, it begins to overload before everything fades out again.

"When Gareth's portal overloaded, it imploded and pulled in everything around it. I've been transported to an unknown place that feels strangely familiar."

Ayleid StatueCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdThis ends the quest and you appear in a pool by a statue, that definitely looks like the pool and statue outside Castle Relleis, only in better condition. If you check the world map it shows you that you are in Cyrod. By the pool is a human, Ovidius, and beside him is the Cuirass of the Crusader.

OvidiusCredit: Lanceor/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdSpeak to Ovidius and ask him about all the topics possible to get as much information as possible. If you are an elf, he initially panics.

Asking him "What happened here?" starts the quest Recovering the Crusader's Relics.

Asking about "Vindasel" starts the quest Liberate Vindasel.

Your conversation with Ovidius suggests that you have travelled back to the time of Alessia's rebellion in the First Era. various familiar locations can be found, although the Ayleid locations are no longer ruins, and the Imperial ones do not as yet exist.
