Parts is Parts

All that tells me is that it probably isn't really empty. Somebody, or something, has certainly discovered this place by now. With any luck, it will just be the big bad wolf. But with my luck, it will probably be the wolf and all his friends."
Todward marks the location of Glutinus Manor on your map and gives you a Potion of Charm and a Potion of Nighteye.
Glutinus Manor is now occupied by unaggressive Thieves. When approached, they tell you to speak to their leader, Robear.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksThere are a number of ways this can be handled. You can simply slaughter everyone, or you can speak to Robear. With Robear you could offer to pay him some money in advance, or let him keep anything else found.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksIn the basement on some shelves is a statue of Dibella. When activated it opens a secret door opposite the stairs. The Hairpin is on the desk in the revealed room. Take it and your log updates.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda Softworks"This looks like what Todward was looking for. I see no point in staying here any longer than necessary. Time to head back to the Order of the Candle."
Now return to Todward, who takes the Hairpin and gives you 250 Gold and a Greater Soul Trap scroll. He tells you that Arkyon needs you next.
"I have told Arkyon that I would escort Ashemanu from Windfall to the coven. It seems like a minor task, but he is very concerned about her safety. I think the stories about the men in the black armor killing people has him on edge. Especially with Ashemanu returning. If it will put him at ease, I can spare a couple of days to hang out in Windfall at his expense. Then I can walk Ashemanu back here."
Arkyon wants you to got to Windfall and escort Ashemanu back. He gives you 50 Gold for expenses in advance.
A Sailor on the ship at the docks tells you that the ship came in early and that a dark elf was on board. Frillia at The Weary Traveller says she hasn't seen anyone matching Ashemanu's description.
"I must have missed her somehow. The ship arrived early, and apparently she left Windfall soon after arriving. Unless she went cross country, there is only one road from here to the coven. She doesn't know about the men in the black armor, so she may not be taking precautions. With any luck she stopped by the rest area. If I can't catch up to her, I hope she makes it back safely."
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksGo to the rest stop. There, there is a dead Windfall Guard named Wrightious Protectius. Go inside the tent and there are signs of a struggle as well as a Light Black Shield and your log updates.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda Softworks"This is beginning to become a familiar scene. There is one difference, no body. Well at least no body that fits Ashemanu's description. I think that is a good thing, but some how I doubt Arkyon is going to see it that way. Especially with signs of that black armor again. I guess his fears were well founded. This is exactly what he hired me to prevent."
Return to Arkyon and tell him what happens. He doesn't take it well.
"Arkyon took the news about Ashemanu very badly. It looked like it made him physically ill. Either that or it was the strangest coincidence I have ever seen. I need to tell Todward about Ashemanu. But first I must find Shanur, Arkyon needs healing."
Speak to Shanur, then to Todward, then return to Shanur in Arkyon's room.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda Softworks"It seems that Arkyon is very sick. Shanur does not believe she will be able to make the necessary potion to cure Arkyon. She is sending me to some hermit who is apparently an expert alchemist. She gave me 200 septims to pay for the potion, but she did warn me he may be difficult to convince. Arkyon has been kind to me, I feel obligated to at least try to help save his life."
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksShanur gives you 200 Gold for expenses. When asked about Rolen Sattel, she marks his house on the map, Hermit's House.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksGo to Rolen's house. He's inadequately socialised and demands 200 Gold up front. When paid, he now tells you that you need to go and get some ingredients from the Pirate's Base along the coast which he marks on your map.
Credit: ed_conn and Bethesda SoftworksWhen you get to the base, if you speak to any Pirate - they are unaggressive - they suggest that you speak to Captain Ron or First Mate Gilligan. Gilligan will give you the roots if you kill Captain Ron for him (you can also shop him to Ron and kill Gilligan instead). Captain Ron will give you them if you pay him. He'll take either 150 or 300 Gold depending on how much you've annoyed him, a Heroism scroll or a Heroism scroll and a Command Humanoid scroll, again depending on how much you've annoyed him or finally go to Bear Cave just to the south, kill the Bears and bring back their hides. Alternatively, you could steal them from the Lower Deck of the pirate ship A Woman Scorned or just kill any Pirate that gets in your way.
Once you have the two Tango Roots, return to Rolen who gives you the potion. Go back to see Shanur who takes the potion from you and gives you 200 Gold. Now go and speak to Todward, who gives you some background on Alexander in An Old Fire Rekindled.
