Oolong tea is the new herbal drink on the block that people are trying out because of the associated health benefits that are connected with it.

The Origins Of Oolong Tea

Oolong tea originates from China. There is also a brand that is also produced in Taiwan but if you are after the unique version you may want to ensure that the tea which is called commonly known as wulong tea, after its creator, is the one that you drink.

The Characteristics Of The Tea

Oolong tea bags, like most varieties, actually stems from the same source as black tea. The big difference is the way in which it is processed. Black tea is left to completely ferment and oxidise once it has been picked.

Just as the strength and aroma of black tea depends on the length of fermentation, the same can be said for oolong tea. So you will find that there is a whole range of flavours and colourings available. You may like to experiment with different types so that you can find the one that you really like the taste of.

To get clearer skin, drink Oolong, but be advised that you'll have to commit to drinking several cups a day every day. Just the occasional cup won't do it. And it's the same for dieting. You'll have to eat fewer calories or you won't lose any weight. That's the reality. If you cut calories, do it along with drinking tea.
