The Health Benefits of Jumping on Trampolines

There are many reasons why trampolines benefit your health.
Bouncing on trampolines help remove toxins by squeezing them out. Your body has about 60 trillion cells, so the gravitational pull pushes out the toxins when you bounce. During the period of weightlessness, when your body is suspended midair, the lower pressure in your cells promote the movement of nutrients into the cells. Imagine this as a workout to get every cell in your body to exercise.
Trampoline exercise also lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease in three different ways:
- Strengthens the legs to act as an auxiliary pump for the cardio system, which lessens the strain on the heart.
- Strengthens the heart by increasing the pulse rate.
- Strengthens voluntary and involuntary muscular system to make the cardiovascular system work more efficiently.

Trampolines increase bone density too! Studies show that people exercising at least three times per week have higher bone mineral content than those that exercise less than three times per week. So, fight osteoporosis and bounce a bit!
Development of motor skill is another attribute trampoline bouncing can give you, because while bouncing, your brain needs to function bilaterally, responding to gravity acting from all angles.
Other things that trampoline jumping offers are a better balance, fun, family entertainment, and a great activity to do almost year round.
