The Infamous Banksy

Banksy is well known across the globe as a man of mystery. He is a British graffiti artist, supposedly from Yate, South Gloucestershire. Although his real-life identity is well concealed, his street art is famous and very recognizable.

His style of art is often satirical on politics, pop culture, and ethics. Banksy's street art combines graffiti with stencils. Banksy's art can be found in the UK, and in the United States. Some of Banksy's art is featured in modern art galleries, and books. Art auctioneers have attempted to sell his street art (ie. graffiti on walls) to the highest bidder, and leave the winning bidder to deal with removing the art for collection.
