The Invicta watch company, have a wide variety of eye-catching watches of all different types and descriptions. The Invicta Speedway is distinct from the others due to its classic diving style looks and dirt-cheap price. The Invicta 9211 Speedway watch is one of the most popular individual timepieces within the Invicta line, it features a white dial, with three sub-dials that keep track of the elapsed stopwatch timer.
While the 9211 Speedway watch is on the entry-level side of the Speedway collection, this watch is in stark contrast to the Invicta Grand Speedway 4218 watch, which costs a couple of hundred dollars more than the 9211, but is a top quality men's sports watch that looks a lot dearer than the actual price it sells for. Both feature a stainless steel watch case and are water-resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). While the 4218 Speedway watch features Swiss Quartz movement that will keep time extremely reliably, the 9211 watch features a Japanese Quartz movement.
One of the features of an Invicta Speedway watch and Invicta watches in general is the tritnite illumination system that allows you to read your watch even in low lighting conditions. The illumination coating is applied to the hands and markers of the watch and will provide continual illumination for up to 20 hours when fully charged. The three sub-dials of the two watches, function in exactly the same way. The Invicta speedway chronograph watches keep track of the elapsed stopwatch time, that is operated with the top and bottom side pusher buttons that are positioned directly above and below the central crown. In the case of both watches, the sub-dials are located at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, and the day-of-the-week display window positioned around the 4 o'clock mark, both feature the distinctive Invicta logo at the 12 o'clock position.
The main difference between these two watches is that of shape and quality. The Invicta Speedway Grand 4218 has more of a rounder shape case compared to the Invicta 9211 Speedway. It features a sapphire coated mineral crystal dial window that is better quality than the 9211. Overall, both watches are great buys, depending on what you want. Both are great looking, but if you insist on better quality, than it is well worth paying extra for the 4218 Speedway watch. While these two watches are sold within in Speedway line, they feature styling that is distinctly different. Deciding which one of these to make part of your collection is entirely a personal choice that you will have to decide for yourself.
