The Kymaro Body Shaper Review (RachelB)

By Edited Feb 6, 2016 1 5

The pros are quite extensive. Customers report looking slimmer and smoother, as well as having notably better posture, and feeling happier, sexier and more confident when wearing their Kymaro body shapers underneath their clothing.

When it comes to cons, be careful about what size you choose when purchasing this product. Some customers suggest adding a few pounds to your actual weight because they feel that the sizes of the Kymaro body shapers run a bit small, and it is better to err on the side of caution.

Full Review

The Kymaro Body Shaper is one of those As Seen on TV products. Perhaps you have caught the infomercial for this particular product yourself. The before and after shots of the women who try it on are actually quite dramatic (in a good way); and the manufacturers have certainly worked hard to please their customers with this particular product, addressing many of the concerns and complaints of women who have tried other such undergarments and have found them to be stiff and uncomfortable or not as smoothing and slimming as the manufacturers claimed.

For instance, it is a comfortable undergarment. (Actually, there are two garments, one for the torso and one for the hips and thighs.) It is manufactured from a material that is designed not to make the wearer feel overheated. This is very important for women, especially women experiencing perimenopause or menopause who may be having hot flashes as a result of the hormonal changes going on in their bodies.

Most important of all: it does what the manufactures promise it will do. It reshapes the body, hiding or smoothing the lumps and bumps in the back, waist, hips, etc. When you feel more confident about how you look in your clothing, you just feel better about yourself in general.

Another nice perk about the upper portion of this two part undergarment set is that it is designed to improve your posture. And of course, any time you stop slouching and stand up straighter, you naturally appear taller, slimmer and more poised, which are all great things. These are designed to be very subtle and discreet, provided the clothing that you wear on top of them does not ride up as you move around. Please note that you are also advised to soak your Kymaro body shaper, preferably in cold water, prior to wearing it for the first time, as they claim that this will make the garment more pliable and easier to wear.

In Closing

Overall, if you are in the market for a body shaper, you might want to invest in some Kymaro shapewear, because you will likely be quite pleased and impressed.

Kymaro torso shapewear. I bought one at Bed Bath and Beyond. I picked the correct size and was very disappointed with the results. The fit was terrible and wonder how manufacturers are allowed to get away with such a poor product. I paid $29.99 for this garment and would like a full refund of my money. Can anyone tell me who the makers are

i also bought this product at Bed Bath and Beyond and it did not fit. I got the size that said to buy according to the box and when i tried putting it on at home, i could not get it past my thighs. I returned it to Bed Bath and Beyond and got my money back. No questions asked.

The Kymaro's problem is that they are a really big company and make general sizes, but I'm very small in the waist and my hips are a bigger size than my top part. I sent mine back and then checked out a company I'd heard about, www.skinnycami.biz. OMG...she makes them to fit your body. They're cheaper, too. This thing is amazing.

I just heard about the same website!!!--skinnycami.biz--I totally love mine, I just ordered another one, white this time. I couldn't stand my kymaro--it was "painful" to wear. The lady at skinnycami was so nice. I agree with momof11--the skinnycami is WAY better!!
