The Most Delicious Bacon wrapped Chicken Dinner Ever
Are you looking for a chicken dinner that is different? Do you want something packed with a bunch of flavor? Do you love bacon and cream cheese? This is a very simple and easy to make chicken dinner meal that packs some mean flavor. To get started, you will need to collect the following ingredients:
- Boneless Chicken breasts
- Package of bacon (Experiment with other flavors to give additional tastes. Maple always works)
- 1 container of cream cheese. (I like to use chive cream cheese for this when using regular bacon)
- Spices of your liking.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- If your chicken breasts are thick, cut down the center creating two breasts. You want to make sure the breast aren't too thick, but also not too thick. Use your judgement.
- Cut the breast into strips about 1-2 inch wide. If they are a little bit wider than the bacon strips is perfect.
- Place the each strip of chicken breast on top of a strip of bacon. Regular bacon works well if you are going to use the chive cream cheese. If you use regular cream cheese, then maple bacon will give you some additional flavor.
- Take the cream cheese and spread it on top of the chicken. Make sure that the cream cheese is a soft kind. If its not soft, leave it out for a while so that it can get soft. I recommend using chive cream cheese, as it provides some better flavor.
- Now roll up the chicken and bacon into roll. If you are having a hard time getting the bacon to stay on the chicken, you can use tooth picks and stick them through to hold the chicken and bacon together.
- Sprinkle on your spices to add some extra flavor. I recommend using paprika and maybe a little garlic powder.
- Place the chicken into a glass pan and pop into the over for about 20-25 minutes.
