The New Nintendo DS Face Training with Yoga
Nintendo DS- Face Training (Yoga)

Face training will be introduced to the UK market in the run up to Christmas; already a hit in Japan for the last three years the program will be to tempt even more women into the console market. Believe it or not women make up to two thirds of the Nintendo DS market in Britain that's a whopping 66% of the Nintendo market.
Their previous brain training titles had already allowed the company to attract the older generation, people who had never played on a computer were now suddenly snapping up the Nintendo DS with the promise of using brain training to beat aging and degeneration of the brain.
The advertising campaign will have the likes of Julie Walters, Zoe Ball and Fern Britton involved, I can already begin to imagine the hilarious faces being pulled. This may not be a DS game to do on the train or in any public place.
The Nintendo DS Face Training will have players using the handheld touch screen to mimic the images shown on the one half, using the camera attachment they will be able to see their mirror image to create as closely as possible that of the yoga trainer. The idea is to train and exercise the facial muscles to eliminate lines, wrinkles and frowns; improving the facial muscle tone by increasing oxygen to the muscles. Danielle Collins who is the UK's leading Face Yoga instructor has become the spokesperson for the Nintendo DS Face Training Game.
Nintendo will also be releasing a camera to go with this game and probably also have a few other games ready and waiting to be unleashed on the market that will make use of this new accessory. The camera will be able to attach to the GBA slot on the NDS, so we'll all be able to update our DS rather than splashing out for a whole new one.
It's quite imaginative of Nintendo to come up with a game that in fact exercises the facial muscles rather than the traditional sense of gaming. If it's what it takes to increase their sales and attract even more women to the technology and the market then it's definitely a bright move. I'll be ready and waiting come Christmas to see what the DS Face Training looks like and what the reviews are. And no doubt we'll be wondering how come the Japanese managed to keep this to themselves for three whole years.
