Despite what you may or may not believe, you have the power to change your life.  Misled by cultural ideals that vary among communities, you are probably among a a population of us who have become products of our surroundings.  Perhaps you have been taught not to speak of dreams or think outside of the box.  It is not uncommon to accept the path of least resistance because it holds the largest measure of security.  How well spent is your time on this earth if you are unhappy with your day to day existence?  What portion of you longs to see more, to have more options, or to be better than you are?

And who is to say that you shouldn't have it?

The feelings inside you, suggesting to your intuition that you were meant to be involved with something bigger, just may be a divine voice inviting you to change your life into that which you imagine it to be.  Had there not been forward thinking individuals speaking out over the voices of negativity, our world would not have developed into what it is today.  Had it not been for their vision, they would not have had success.  That is the same principle that applies to the first step in changing your life, which is: Set a goal.

A mission that does not have an identified goal will most likely become a failure.  It is for this very reason that your life change must start with at least a general idea of what you want out of life.  You can base it on your favorite hobby or interest, if you like.  The best type of employment is that which is enjoyed the most by the person doing it.  There is no reason why you cannot flourish in a field that you enjoy.

No matter what goals you set for yourself, the inevitable next step is the gathering of information.  Taking a blind leap of faith is not the same as rushing unnecessarily blind into a situation.  Whether you are seeking a career that required education, or your are planning for aspects of your life that have nothing to do with employment, there are is knowledge to require.  Because you deserve the best possible opportunity, you owe it to yourself to exhaust the possibilities of your first steps to insure you are making the most rewarding decisions.

Along the road you will gain a clear understanding of who supports you and wishes you success, and those who are dissident or wish you failure.  The process of changing your life may result in the replacement of friends and acquaintances.  This is a natural phase of the process of growth.  Although you may have many friends who are following your lead and reaffirming the positive in what you are doing, there are a great many more that will fall behind by having become consumed with judgment, resentment, and fear.

If you are tired of the way things are going, and you know there has to be a better way; there is no need to convince yourself otherwise.  Decide what you want out of life and take the steps to change your life for good.
