The Summer 2013 Anime Season Line Up

If you like to be on the up and up with all the new anime that come out every season and you are currently gearing up for the spring 2013 season, then you have come to the right place for information. There are a lot of good titles for the anime spring 2013 season.

Kingdom 2

Kingdom 2 is a sequel to Pierrot Studio's Kingdom anime that came out last summer in 2012. Kingdom and its sequel is an anime about the Warring States Period in ancient China. Shin and Hyou are orphans resulting from the brutal wars happening throughout the country of Qin. They both wish to be great warriors, however one day Hyou is taken to the palace where he ends up on the losing side of a power struggle. You can expect this on an unspecified day in July.

Servant x Service

Servant x Service

Servant x Service is an anime by A-1 Pictures studio based on the manga of the same name. The story follows the employees of a government office In Hokkaido, Japan. These employees deal with the strenuous activities of the health and welfare division of the office. This anime will be aired sometime in July.

Tamayura ~ futatose ~

Tamayura ~ futatose ~

Tamayura ~ futatose~ is the sequel to the TYO Animations original series called Tamayura ~ hitotose ~. The story follows Fu Sawatari in her first year of high school where she moves to a scenic town by Hiroshima after her father passes away. She loves taking photographs with her father's old camera. The story follows her daily life and the friends that begin to amass behind her. This anime is set to air on July 7th.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear G

Senki Zesshou Symphogear G

Sequel to Studio Satelight's Senki Zesshou Symphogear, this original series picks up where it left off. The story follows a pair of idols, Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, who fight against an invading alien race knowns only as Noise. Using their special Symphogear armor they are charged with protecting Hibiki Tachibana who was wounded by the Noise. kanade sacrifices herself to complete the mission so Tsubasa ends up fighting alone. however Hibiki is starting to develop the powers that Kanade once possessed. Expect this sequel in July sometime.

High School DxD NEW

High School DxD NEW

This sequel to Studio TNK's series based on a light novel brings back the super fanservice fans have come to love. The story follows Issei Hyoudou, a kind of dense and pervereted high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. He is reincarnated as a demon who now serves under Riasu, a high level demon who is also the prettiest girl in Issei's school. This series premiere sometime in July.

Kin-iro Mosaic

Kin-iro Mosaic

Studio Gokumi's anime Kin-iro Mosaic based off a manga of the same name follow Shinobu Oumiya. When she was younger she studied overseas in Great Britain, after she returns to Japan, she begins to miss her time overseas. One day, a letter arrives from Alice, a girl she lived with abraod. As it turns out, Alice is coming to Japan. This comedy follows the two friends on their comedic adventures. This anime is coming at you in July.

Senryuu Season Two

Senryuu Season Two

This sequel to Senryuu, which was a manga adaption by both Ordet and Linden Films follows the descendant of an ancient hero named Aruba. His ancestor Kureashion defeated the demon king Rukimedesu a millennium ago. When a great hole opened up in the Earth and demons started pouring out, the king decreed that Aruba must defeat the demon king like his ancestor before him. The release date has been unspecified, but expect it sometime this summer.

Blood Lad

Blood Lad

Brain base Studios' Blood Lad follows Staz, a vampire that is obsessed with humans, and Fuyumi, a human girl that was killed and turned into a ghost after wandering into the demon world. Staz promises to help Fuyumi regain her humanity, though mostly because doing so means that he could visit the human world. This story is based on the manga of the same name and should be premiering this summer season.

Uchouten Kazoku

Uchouten Kazoku

This comedy by P.A. Works is set in Kyoto, where tanuki (shape shifting raccoon dogs), tengu (goblins), and humans live together. The story follows the Shimogamo family of tanuki who live the forest by the Shimogamo shrine. This story is based on a novel and will be premiering in July 2013.

Silver Spoon

Silver Spoon

Silver Spoon follows the story of Yugo Hachiken who dreams of a life seperated from his family. So naturally, he enrolls in agricultural school. He thinks that since he has such a knack for studying that he will do well no matter what the school. however, agricultural school proves him wrong, it turns out it is much more difficult than anticipated. Look for this one in July.

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou

Adapted from the light novel by Gonzo, this mystery comedy follow Kazuhito Harumi, a high school boy who is obsessed with books. One day, he is killed during a robbery and resurrected as a dog. His new owner is a sadistic novelist who likes to punish him with scissors.

Brothers Conflict

Brothers Conflict

Based on a novel that is adapted into anime by Brain Base, the story follows a girl who suddenly finds herself with 11 new brothers. After her mother's death, her father remarries into the Asahina family which has 11 boys ranging from 32 to 11 years of age, all of which live under the same roof.

Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi

Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi

This fantasy anime by studio Madhouse is set 15 years after humans stopped being born and the dead stopped dying, since the world was abandoned by God. This brought forth an organization of "gravekeepers" who are set with the task of giving the dead peace. Ai is the only gravekeeper in her village. One day, a boy named Hanpunii Hanbaado appears and begins setting the village aflame. This man then reveals to Ai the shocking truth of their world.

Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary

Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary

This is not an official title, however Toei animation is releasing an anime to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sailor Moon. Whether this will be a remake or a completely new story is yet to be known. However, it is set to come out sometime this summer.
