I went to see " The Taking of Pelham 123" this weekend starring Denzel Washington and John Travola and our own Tony Soprano playing the Mayor of New York. This was an excellent movie with lot of action but also a lot of verbal and mental interaction. I loved seeing the scenes of New York since I grew up there but have been gone for many years. It is always fun to see the sarcastic New York humor that most people outside of the Tri City area really don't get. Kind of funny that it warms my heart to see people being insulting to one another.

The acting was top notch and considering the actors, that is not surprising. I can't remember when I saw a Denzel movie that I didn't like and in the case of John Travolta, there have only been a couple.

I can always tell when I am really into a movie because I forget to look at my watch. This was one of those that kept you riveted and had your full attention. Some humor injected here and there eased the tension just enough.

Good movie, I recommend it highly.
