Lil Wayne is definitely one of the most influential rappers of his time. Between his meaningful lyrics, and ridiculous beats, he has produced a ton of hits that have dominated the charts substantially over the last few years. However, with close to 100 chart-topping hits, you may be asking yourself: what are the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time? Although the answer to this question may be completely subjective, my opinion is described throughout this article. You will find my version of a list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time, along with a short description of why each specific song was included in the list.

10. Phone Home

Some people dislike this specific track because the chorus is extremely repetitive, and is only based on a few words; however, if you have some powerful subwoofers in your car or home, this is definitely a song that you should be playing. This was included in the list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time because it mixes two different tempos on a single beat. Basically, Lil Wayne chooses to rap at a single speed and then double that rapping speed from time to time.

9. Leather So SoftLil Wayne And Birdman Like Father Like Son Audio CDCredit:

The beat in this song is not as strong as the one in his Phone Home hit, but it is still an amazing one to be featured on Lil’ Wayne and Birdman’s album entitled Like Father Like Son. Lil Wayne and Birdman did an amazing job when they were coming up with the lyrics for this song because the lyrics are mainly based on the soft leather seats and top of a convertible car. However, those lyrics contain a ton of sarcasm and innuendos that only the older listeners would be aware of. Leather So Soft is placed on this list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time because of its amazing and sarcastic lyrics.

8. Every Girl

Although explicit would not even be a word that would do this song justice in regards to how vulgar the lyrics are, I still chose to include it on the list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time because the artists choose to mix rapping and slight singing throughout the song. Every Girl sort of provides the best of both worlds through the rapping and singing. Lil Wayne has never been known to have an opera quality voice; however, this song definitely does justice to the singing portion of his voice. In addition, this top 10 Lil Wayne song has a decent Youtube video that is not as explicit as the lyrics are.

This is a classic track by Lil Wayne that will really show off the power and quality of your subwoofers. The lyrics that are featured throughout this song are definitely great; however, it is the beat that has allowed Go DJ to be featured on this list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time. 6. 3 Peat

Lil Wayne‘s album entitled Tha Carter 3 featured a ton of hit songs that dominated the charts in 2009 and 2010; however, 3 Peat was one of its main songs that described the album as a whole. I would say that the lyrics can be deemed as being decent, but the beat to this song is absolutely astonishing.

5. Right Above It

One of the first things that many people feel when they listen to this song by Drake and Lil Wayne is a great motivation to do something amazing. Right Above It has made it onto my list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs because it will provide the listener with some well-needed motivation. The lyrics that Lil Wayne and Drake choose describe the feeling that they experience when they have finally ‘‘made it‘‘.

4. Bedrock

Any song that features all of the members of the Young Money crew should nearly automatically be featured on a list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time for the simple reason of it combining a ton of diverse talents and voices to make an amazing song! Although the lyrics are sort of explicit, they are said in a way that would allow a child to listen to them and think that the song was based on a Flinstones theme. With huge names such as Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Tigga rapping throughout the song, was there ever any doubt that it would have not made it onto the list of Lil Wayne‘s top 10 songsLil Wayne Rebirth Audio CDCredit:

3. 6 Foot 7 Foot

This is Lil Wayne‘s most recent release at the time of writing this article, and solely features the artist rapping throughout the verses. The chorus features some well known pieces of an old song, and the hook behind the verses is continually repeating a well known phrase that will definitely make the listener laugh when hearing it. Lil Wayne is an absolutely amazing artist for many reasons, and his ability to mix the old with the new, and mix various genres together, are simply two of the most effective ones.

2. A Milli

This is definitely one of Lil Wayne’s most memorable songs, and definitely defined the 2008 and 2009 years! The bass line is simple, but catchy, and the lyrics are based on the term “million” in many different aspects. This song has been included on this list of the top 10 Lil Wayne songs of all time because it simply combines a very catchy beat with some well thought out lyrics.

1. Lollipop

You may be wondering what specific aspects have allowed Lollipop to be placed at the top spot on this top 10 list of Lil Wayne songs. The single aspect is that it had appealed to listeners of all sorts. I remember hearing about grandparents that found this Lil Wayne song very catchy at the time of its release.
