France and its Famous Eiffel Tower

France, a country known for its artistic culture is one of the most frequented tourist spots in the world. It is home to one of the most famous landmarks on Earth, the Eiffel Tower. To think that the Eiffel tower was almost taken apart after its permit expired.Now it continues to be a very famous tourist attraction that draws tourists to France.

Eiffel Tower was mainly built for research purposes only, which was to help measure the effect of wind speed on structures and other high altitude experiments.One of which was the use of the mercury barometer. The tower was also one of the first places of radio transmissions. The reason why they did not take it down is that because it held a lot of significance for the French army during World War 1. The French military had a lot of use for its antenna and did not want it taken down even after the structure's permit expired. Eiffel Tower was even witness to the capture of one of the world's famous treacherous spies, Mata Hari.

At night, the Eiffel tower is a totally different tourist attraction. You do not even need to go near it to experience the wonder of the light shows. nce lit up, the lights will project various patterns on the tower. Surely this is one of the most spectacular light shows in France and possibly the whole world.

The tourist attractions in France are not only limited to the Eiffel tower. You can also visit Disneyland as it offers the magic and fantasy of Disneyland theme parks known worldwide. In visiting France you'll be experiencing France's exquisite culture and also the fun and excitement of being in Disneyland.

France and Art

As people in Frnce have long been very artistic, you will find a lot of famous artworks from French artists on display in their museums. One such museum in France is the Louvre Museum. It houses a collection of artwork from paintings to sculptures and even new media art. The artworks on display here are one of the most breathtaking works of man. The museum houses a collection that dates back from the medieval period up to the present day and the collection is still growing. If you are a fan of Leonardo Da Vinci or would just want to view his interesting works, then the Louvre Museum in France is your destination. It houses his very famous painting, "Mona Lisa".

What to Wear in France

When planning a vacation in France, make sure that you dress appropriately. The winters are very moderate but can be really cold if otherwise. On summer seasons make sure that you have light airy clothing as summers tend to be on a very warm side. The beaches in France are spectacular. The sand and sea here are clean and are perfect for beach vacations. Some beaches even permit nudity but only on selected ones. ou may also want to bring fewer clothes in case you plan to do some clothes shopping for bargain designer dresses in France's boutiques.

The cuisine in France is also very superb. Cheese and wine are one of the significant ingredients in French cuisine. Over a thousand variations in cheese and each of them have a wine that compliments it perfectly. The use of herbs and spices are also very noticeable in their cuisine adding to the vast array of flavor in their dishes.

France truly is one of the most interesting places to visit when you are on vacation. The tourist spots and attractions you will visit will still leave you wanting to see more of the beauty of France.
