3 Ways to Be More Productive
Have you ever woken up in the morning with no drive, no motivation? Ever wished you could get more work done? Many of us struggle each day to get things done each day and feel as if there is never enough time in the day to get everything done. If you feel like you are constantly behind and seeking to catch up on life, try some of these tips out for a spin.
If you don't exercise, you should start. Not only will you feel better and be healthier, you will have more energy. You will feel better. If you feel better you will be able to work more efficiently. Start small and set goals for yourself. Go out for a run. Find those sneakers from the closet or buy some from the thrift shop if you don't own a pair. If you don't enjoy running, find a simple workout you can do from home or buy a program like Insanity or P-90X that you can do in your free time from the comfort of your home. If you feel healthier you will work better, period.
2. Wake Up Earlier
Eyes are rolling and readers are shaking their heads. Hear me out though. Try setting your alarm a half hour earlier. If you're feeling brave set it an hour earlier. Just give it a try. Make yourself a good breakfast. Do your exercise routine and take some time to read in the morning. Every morning you are preparing yourself for the day or choosing the person you want to be for the day. Prepare yourself well and you will be a more productive, better prepared person and not a frazzled, rushed, stressed person.
If you want to be more productive at work and at home take some time daily to improve yourself. You may take some time to read just for the fun of reading but make time every day or as often as you can to read for your own personal education. Find experts in your industry or your hobbies and read. Dig and research to your hearts content. If you want to be productive, read books written by productive people, entrepreneurs and leaders in society. Not only is this beneficial but it can be very enjoyable.
