If you want to be original, you need to bear in mind that the most important thing in a kitchen is that it should be functional. If you design something great but you cannot cook in your kitchen, that will be like creating a piece of museum artifacts. If you have a tiny kitchen, making the most of the little space you have is very important otherwise, you will not be able to get all the needed kitchen appliance you need to fit properly.

The best design for any tiny galley kitchen has to keep clutter at bay. If you have too much things in your kitchen that you can barely move, that will not be a great experience for anyone who has to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. If the space in your kitchen is narrow and rectangular, you might want to put all you cooking items and kitchen appliance on one side of the kitchen and make good use of the space above the work area buy installing shelves of cupboards. Some people have found it to be practical to have some kitchen furniture on wheels that will allow easy movement.

You can also attach foldable kitchen table to the wall as a work surface that can be put away once you are done with cooking. That can help avoid the feeling of clutter because the table will not impede your movement when it is not in use.

There is no need to be too fussy about your kitchen because the most important thing is having a place where to cook your food. There are those who only have a microwave in their kitchen and they are happy with that. If you have a family it might not be the best idea to feed everyone on frozen microwavable food.
