Tips To Find Free Piano Sheet Music

I know it is very difficult to find free piano sheet music. I play the piano all the time, and spending money on every piano sheet would cost me a ton. It would probably cost me about $100 per month on piano sheets because I am always looking for new ones to play. It might feel like it is impossible to find genuine free sheet music at times because the internet is filled with junk. For example, you are trying to find a new sheet music for a popular song in the search engine, and the first page would be filled with links that say "free", but then they all turn out to be fake as they will direct to a site that requires you to purchase the piano sheet music. That is very frustrating for people who are browsing the internet as they are going through fake free sheet music sites from one link to another.

Here are some tips to help you find genuine free piano sheet music:

1.) When you are searching in the search engine, always type in the singer's name/composer, the full name of the song, and then "piano sheet music free". For example, "miley cyrus the climb piano sheet music free".

2.) Don't just stop on the first page of the search. One time, I found a real free sheet music in the 6th page. Sometimes, it is hard for real sites to rank well because some sites are very good at search engine optimization so even crappy sites can be on first page of Google.

3.) Do not just rely on one search engine. I remember finding a sheet music on Bing, but I couldn't find the same one on Google. You would normally expect the Big G to have everything that you need.

4.) If you still can't find it, or simply the free version is non-existent, then go on YouTube and type in the singer's name/composer, the full name of the song, and "piano tutorial". The people who teach you how to play the song in the videos actually help you a lot. It might not be a sheet music, but the video tutorials are actually pretty amazing.

Some free piano sheet music sites will only give you a partial version of the song, and then require you to pay for the full version. I rather watch the videos of how to play the full version instead.
