Tips on How to Prevent and Treat Ankle Bone Injuries

The ankles are important to the body as they facilitate feet movements when walking. When an ankle is stretched or flexed beyond its capacity, the ligaments and tissues in it might get injured, or even torn. In rare occasions, even bones located on the ankle are fractured.   • Elevation – Keep your affected feet off the ground so you would not accidentally use it while you are doing things.
