Tips to burn more calories every day

By Edited Nov 14, 2015 0 4

Losing weight is not just a matter of going to the gym twice a week.

Losing weight requires you to burn more calories every day.

If you could burn 500 calories every day, that will add up to a total of 15,000 calories burnt in a month.

How to burn more calories every day?

Here are some simple tips to help you burn more calories without upsetting your daily routine.

1. do more housework

If you have a habit of sitting in front of the TV every evening, you can force yourself to spend an extra ten minutes on housework every evening.

You can clean the window on Monday night. You can change the sofa cover on the second night. You can spend a few nights to clear the attic.

Doing housework is a good form of exercise to burn calories.

2. walk faster

You can increase your walking speed. You can walk faster in the office environment. You can walk faster when you are doing your grocery shopping.

The speed of walking affects the metabolism rate. Your body will burn calories faster when you walk faster.

3. walk more

You can choose to walk more, especially during your lunch hour. You can choose to use the stairs instead of using the elevator.

If you are staying near the shops where you do your grocery shopping, you can choose walking instead of driving for grocery shopping.

That means you have to make a few more trips to get all the shopping done. You can save on gas and lose weight at the same time.

4. do not use trolley

If you carry a basket to hold all the goods you buy, instead of using a trolley, you can feel the impact of the weight.

Carrying a 5-kg liquid detergent and walk around the store is a good exercise. If you do it frequently, you can find that the muscles of the arms get tightened.

5. wash your car

Most people hate to wash their cars. If you belong to this group of people, you can consider it as part of the losing weight campaign.

6. walk and talk

Instead of calling your friends to chat for hours, you can invite them out for a window shopping session.

In this case, you get to walk and talk. That is an excellent way to keep in touch with friends and burn more calories together.

You can arrange with your colleagues to spend 30 minutes during the lunch hour for walking. After all, you do not need to spend the whole hour eating food. You can finish the food in less than 20 minutes, and spend 30 minutes burning the calories away.

It is not hard to burn more calories every day. You need to examine all the little things you do as part of the daily routine. You can think of ways to make it physically harder, so that you can burn more calories from the daily activities.

I walk around the grocery story a lot, but never thought to pick up a jug of something and use it for weights while walking! Great article

Hi Sookie, I ever tried carrying 5kg of ice round the store. It was really tiring.

I like the walk and talk, don't much like the telephone, so this tip is great for me. Thanks.

Walk and talk at the same time is really hard. I tried it with a friend, and both of us end up not talking after a while.
