To Trash or Cash?

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

The old, unwanted household items you have cluttering your house may just net you some big bucks.

Scrap Gold – Outdated jewelry, watches, and old gold coins that you don't want anymore can be sold for cash; there are a myriad of companies that buy precious metals from consumers.

Fine China – Rare, old, and discontinued china has long been a household item that can pay handsomely. Search online for collectors of your particular pattern or brand or list the various dishes on auction sites such as eBay.

Toys – Some toys will sell better than others (e.g. train sets, Barbie dolls, Star Wars figurines, etc.), whether online or in the classifieds. You'll net the most for older or rare toys that are not readily available and hard to find.

Sporting Goods – Everything from golf clubs to hunting equipment to gently used snowboards and skis are popular sporting good items that can be sold year-round to put a little cash in your pocket.

Computer Hardware – Given the steep price of new computers and equipments, gently use laptops, PCs, printers, scanners, external drives, and even individual computer parts are always in high demand.

Books – Book lovers and collectors are always searching for limited editions or out of print books. You'll get more money for books in good shape than those in just fair condition.

Small Appliances – How many small, fancy appliances do you have lying around your house that you've barely used? Sell them! Think blenders, food processors, electric shavers, gaming systems, MP3 players, etc.
