Intermediate Crochet Pattern

Do you know someone who could use a hat? If you have the skills of crochet, then this pattern is for you. My mother taught me how to crochet when I was a teenager. It was a basic granny square that grew and grew until it was a blanket. I took the fundamental skills my mother gave me and went to YouTube to gather more skills. Recently, my niece went into the Navy, and before she left we made hats to donate to those less fortunate. It is a bond which continues to unite us to this day.

What a novel idea. I wish more parents would teach their kids the craft of crochet. I love it myself and is a great thing to do in spare time or many people do this when traveling too.
