There are many maps in in the world of Farming Simulator 2013. A lot of them aren't very good, but there are a few gems out there that I think you should know about.
I have picked three of my favorite maps that I am going to share with you here.
I chose the maps based on a few things:
- Level of detail
- Ease of play
Let's get started with the first one.
1-Flatlands 2013 V2
This is my favorite because it is flat. I know that is obvious in this scenario, considering the name and all, but that's the reason. Also, because it is flat it makes it very easy to play.
It has central animal pens. This makes it easier because you do not have to go from one side of the map to the other side the map to deal with your animals.
Another nice feature that they included was, the low number of trees. This is nice because you get stuck on trees, and that isn't very much fun.
It is also very large which is nice. Because it is a large, you get to use all the big equipment on the farm. That is one of the reasons why I love this map so much, and I hope you do too.
The level of detail is alright on this map. I noticed that there was a water fountain missing if you wanted to use one of the placable objects.
2-GMT | Guineford Farm
This is a medium-sized map. It has 16 fields. It has some detail which includes things like trees, walls, fences and a small village. I am not a big fan of the village part, but looks nice.
The reason why I love this farm so much is because of the detail that has gone into it. It is a small quaint farm which is really nice. It also reminds me of home to a certain extent.
On the other hand, the reason why this farm isn't my top pic is because it isn't as easy to play as Flatlands.
A lot of effort went into this particular farm, and it really shows.
3-Central Kansas V2
This particular map includes a lot of detail. This farm comes from Kansas, United States, so if you are from United States, you may like this map more than the others.
It include missions, such as mowing missions which is similar to what you find in the original map.
One nice feature is that it uses all the standard equipment that comes with farming simulator. It's nice because all you need to do is download the map.
The ease of play is acceptable. It isn't my first choice, but it is a nice one.
There is also some nice scenery you can look at while you're driving your tractor.
To sum up, every map has its own little quirks. In the end, you need to test out a few and figure out which one works best for you.
Those are my three picks for farming simulator 2013. I hope you like them.
