A girl just never seems to have enough space for her makeup, or be able to find that exact lip gloss she knows she has but just can't find. Of course the Kardashians showed us how it was done with their super cool acrylic cubes to keep their makeup organized in, so why shouldn't you be the same?
So if you want to keep up with those gorgeous Kardashians, here are the top acrylic makeup organizers that you just have to check out.
Don't let the price of the first one put you off, there are plenty more affordable alternatives underneath to keep everyone happy no matter what amount of money you have to spend.
Kardashian Icebox-Wide Acrylic Makeup Organizer
Credit: sherrieblossom.comUntil recently this model was simply called 'The Kardashian' but the company has now changed the range to be called 'Icebox' - I guess to save legal wranglings. However, if you are looking for the makeup organizer just like the ones that Kardashians use then this is as close as you are going to get.
Of course, it also means it's the most expensive option (400 dollars!), but you do get the most ultimate, extra-large acrylic makeup organizer there is.
This baby has 6 tiers with 5 drawers, and a X grid system on the top tier that is really functional for larger items like creams but is versatile in that you can change the formation. You get 3 sets of adjustable dividers to use throughout the organizer so you can have everything just the way you want it. The dividers are easy to slot into place, and everything always looks good. Of course you can just opt to leave some of the drawers without dividers to get more makeup in if that's what you want too. Extra dividers are available to purchase.
Muji 2 Drawer Large Acrylic Organizer with Lid
Credit: http://www.muji.us/store/storage/acrylic-cases/acrylic-case-2-drawers-with-lid-large.htmlAlthough this organizer doesn't have the power of the type the Kardashians use, it is of a good large size that would be plenty big enough for most of us makeup lovers.
Muji produce several different types of acrylic storage for your makeup, but I selected this one due to its size and the fact that 2 drawers gives you plenty of division between your different makeup types. I particularly like the lid on this unit too as it gives you quick and easy access for those mornings when you don't have time to mess around with 17 different drawers and dividers to find what you want.
Open Makeup Organizer from the Container Store
Credit: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/bath/cosmeticsOrganizers/countertop?productId=10009895This is a great little unit that stores all of your most necessary makeup and keeps it neat and tidy in the bathroom or on your dressing table - that's the beauty of acrylic storage; it just matches any decor.
Despite being advertised as 'large' I don't think it's big enough to fit most gals makeup collection in, but there is certainly room enough for those that you use everyday - perfect for those sleepy mornings.
There are loads of different sized and shaped spaces, so you fit in everything from foundations and nail polish, to creams and lipsticks. Being open access also means that it's a great place to keep your makeup brushes too.
SourceOne Acrylic Makeup Cube with Drawers

Then take a look at this alternative that you can usually find for around 200 dollars by SourceOne.
What you get here are 5 extra large makeup drawers, and a tray on the top to keep your items upright like creams and nail polish. There is no X grid or separators on this top section, but it could prove useful for having your mirror on top of for example, without fiddly little compartments getting in the way.
The handles are really cute and save your lovely makeup unit from getting fingerprints all over it.
You don't get any drawer dividers supplied with this unit, but it depends how big a deal you think this is - is the extra 200 dollars worth it? You can easily buy dividers and smaller storage units in acrylic that could sit inside if you so wished.
UPDATE: This particular model is now out of stock, but there is a great alternative that only costs $179. The great advantage with this model is that you can choose the number of drawers, if it has a lid, and so on, so you can really make it your own.
7 Drawer Makeup Organizer in Acrylic
Credit: http://www.beauty-makeup-supply.com/servlet/the-1421/LUXURY-ACRYLIC-7-DRAWER/DetailSo 5 drawers not big enough for you huh? Well then take a peek at this extra large acrylic makeup organizer with 7 drawers!
What's more the drawers have small and unobtrusive handles to keep those fingerprints off the unit itself and you get different sized drawers to keep all of your makeup cozy and happy. The bottom 3 drawers are larger for your creams and so on, with the top 4 drawers being more shallow for your smaller items like lipsticks and mascaras. You get 2 dividers that fit into the drawers perfectly too, so there are loads of great little spaces for your makeup to stay organized.
It's a great buy as well, at only 100 dollars.
