Top 5 Christmas Present Ideas
Unique Wrapping Paper
If you’re giving a gift you were only going to wrap in tissue paper then throw out the tissue and find something cute and cheap. A scarf makes a great replacement. If the person you are gifting loves sewing, use a bit of beautiful cloth. The possibilities are endless for such unique Christmas present ideas.
Ribbons
Don’t just wrap a gift in paper, include a nice ribbon when you’re done. Thick, thin, matte or shimmery, vary it from gift-to-gift. Use scissors, pulled down the length, of plastic-y ribbons to give them a lovely, bunching curl. Multiple strands of this can be used to make a big, full bunch of curls.
Fake Boxes
Put a smaller, but still impressive or much-wanted, gift into a larger box than it needs. This works really well with oddly-shaped Christmas presents, since the size or shape might have revealed what they were. Stacking a couple boxes within boxes can also be funny, but remember, it’s only funny the first time.
Christmas Stocking
Put the most important small Christmas gift in the bottom of the Christmas stocking and pile smaller things on top to ensure it’s not seen too early. A piece of clothing or a scarf left loose at the very top of the stocking will hide the gifts inside even more and keep them from being seen until the big day.
Bows
Using a wide, soft ribbon to tie up a cute bow instead of using a stick-on bow will give a special flair to your gift that says you took time on it, even I tying a bow only takes a minute of your time.
