Top 5 Zombie Killers

By | Sep 15, 2011 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Zombie movies have become hugely popular since the days of George Romero and his slow shambling zombies. Sometimes it seems that every Hollywood producer, actor, b-rated director and kid with a camera in his backyard has tried to make their own version of a zombie movie. There are only a few zombie killers that were so good at what they did, so creative, so serious and/or so funny, that they will go down in history as ultimate zombie killers!

Ash Williams

With a chainsaw for a hand, Ash Williams is one of the most recognized zombie killers. The cult classic status of the Evil Dead series ensures people for generations to come will fantasize about losing an arm and replacing it with a chainsaw to slaughter zombies.

Alice

The Resident Evil heroine has gone through 4 zombie movies and always comes out on top. This makes her one of the most prolific and successful zombie killers in movie history.

The U.S. Army

While not nearly as successful at killing zombies and permanently eradicating them as individual zombie killers, the United States army does get props for trying in almost every zombie movie. Even in movies set in foreign countries, such as 28 Weeks Later, the United States army overrides any other.

Cindy Bottoms

You might not recognize the name, but if you saw Fido, you will remember the sweet and innocent neighbor girl who shoots a zombie in the head while wearing her girl scout uniform. This girl doesn’t even flinch!

Woody Harrelson

Zombieland made Wood the most creative zombie killer of all. No other movie will feature a man smashing a zombie’s head in with a banjo. But Woody does that and so much more.

If the zombie apocalypse ever comes, will you measure up to these zombie killing greats of the big screen?
