By Edited Jun 19, 2015 0 0

If you are planning a trip to Auckland, New Zealand then you will want to know some of the most exciting places to visit. Below is a list of the top locations around the city.

1. Auckland Bridge Bungy

The Auckland Bridge Bungy provides one of the most unique bungy jump experiences in NZ. Standing at a height of 67m (200ft) above the sea, you are bound to be taken in by the astounding view of Waitemata Harbour. Celebrities such as Katy Perry and Justin Bieber have enjoyed the adrenaline rush that the bridge has to offer so it makes sense for any adrenaline junky to follow suit. If you are not up to the challenge you can still take a guided scenic walk as an alternative.

4. Snowplanet

New Zealand's only indoor ski field is situated 30 minutes drive north of the city centre. It provides a variety of parks and terrains for the advanced skiers/boarders and a gentler slope for the beginners. If you want a taste of the snow without the need to travel to the ski field then Snowplanet is definitely the place to go.

5. Sky Tower

The tallest building in New Zealand is home to some of the best attractions in Auckland. For example, those that are not satisfied by the height of the Auckland Bridge Bungy might  consider the 192m (600ft) Sky Jump to be a feasible alternative. Conversely, you can choose to enjoy the breathtaking 360-degree views of Auckland on the observation deck - at a height of 326m (1000ft) - or you can see it from the Orbit Revolving Restaurant that rotates the whole dining room once every hour. If you are feeling lucky then put it to the test by heading down to the casino. Who knows, you might just hit the jackpot.
