The DFW Area is home to the original Six Flags Over Texas theme park which sits on over 200 acres of land is open from March to January. The park features over a dozen roller coasters and a handful of water rides. Its also home to the fastest and tallest roller coaster in Texas which is the Titan, the ride that soars to 245 feet in the air and reaches speeds of 85 mph.
The DFW area also features many water parks including Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, located directly across the street from Six Flags Over Texas. There is also a the Great Wolf Lodge, a family with resort with indoor water park located in Grapevine, Texas.

The state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium has events year round in addition to the Dallas Cowboys home games.
