Olive oil has numerous properties that make it an admirable choice for home beauty and skin care and as ingredients in skin products:

  1. Olive oil is useful in that its ingredients naturally moisturize the skin.

  2. Olive oil works incredibly as a purifier because it does not eliminate natural defensive oils from the skin

  3. It is ideal in an anti-aging facial schedule because of the anti-oxidants that it holds.

  4. Extra virgin olive oil can also be used as a sun screen as it provides UV protection.

Using olive oil as home beauty care can not only be useful for the skin but also put aside money rather than using those costly beauty and personal care items.

Makeup Remover

Use olive oil as a makeup remover. Apply a little olive oil on a cotton swab or tissue and wash the makeup away. Even waterproof mascara can be easily removed with olive oil as with the store bought makeup removers. It is certain to provide much needed assistance in a fashion debacle.

Skin softener

A few drops of olive oil along with a few drops of rose water should are an ideal beauty indulgence – soft legs to go along with a shaving habit.
