Summer was made for music. So why bother listening to what you heard all winter and spring? Pop on some new tunes and splash around in the pool to some sunny songs.

1. "I Like It" by Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull

I don't care if it's the new "Jersey Shore" song... I like it. A lot. Even if they overplayed this one, I still don't think I'd get sick of it. Although I don't think Enrique Iglesias needs the Autotune on his voice. Pitbull... maybe.

2. "Ridin' Solo" by Jason Derulo

Okay, so maybe Jason ripped off his "S-o-l-o" from Iyaz, but it's still a pretty good hit. It's upbeat without being too feel-good of a summer hit. Great to bounce in the pool to. And boy, has the man got pipes! Plus, how can you resist the "Bittersweet Symphony" playing in the background?

3. "In My Head" by Jason Derulo

Noticing a trend? Jason Derulo writes some pretty good music and doesn't need much Autotune to make his voice sound talented.

4. "Airplanes" by B.o.B., Hayley Williams of Paramore and Eminem

Both the single and the remix are epic hits from these hitmakers. Even though most of Eminem's part consists of bleep-able material, almost everyone can relate to having a time in their lives when all they could think about was airplanes and shooting stars.

5. "Alejandro" by Lady Gaga

No matter what the inspiration for the song, it's still one of my favorite Gaga hits. Though I still refuse to watch the music video.

6. "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B. feat. Bruno Mars

You have to admit, Bruno Mars' solo feature really steals the show in the chorus. But my favorite part of the song is when B.o.B. says "Stop! Now think about it..." I just can't help but laugh.

7. "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem feat. Rihanna

Eminem is great by himself, but he's even better with a little help. Although Rihanna's fallen out of some good graces considering her last album, she redeemed herself on this track, I think. Eminem's latest dropped album features more melodic content than he's ever had - and probably more features, too. This one's definitely worth a few listens.

8. "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy feat. Bruno Mars

It's Bruno Mars' time to shine again on Gym Class Heroes' lead singer's solo hit, "Billionaire." It's clear Travie McCoy has the finer things in life on his mind, and in summertime, who doesn't? Of course we'd all rather be playing in pools and driving nice cars in the sun as opposed to being stuck in a cubicle. So if you can't do that, listening to this song is the next best thing.

9. "Break Your Heart" by Taio Cruz

Ludacris tried to edge his way in on Taio's European hit... well, it didn't work so well. The radio played the feature for a while before listeners decided they liked Taio Cruz's single better without Ludacris. And I definitely agree. This song is one of my all-time favorites - it was before summer, and it will remain that way afterward. Check it out!

10. "Telephone" by Lady Gaga feat. Beyoncé

I love songs with a nice touch, and this one's no exception. The gentle harp feature lends a mystical feel to an otherwise mostly dance/club hit, making it one of my favorite songs of the summer.
