Hey everyone.

Almost everyone goes to the grocery on at least a weekly basis, and right next to the checkout counter there are magazine racks. On almost every single tabloid cover is a headline about some famous celebrity or politician cheating on his or her wife and they promise to show you who the "other woman" is. I have come up with a list of my personal top 10 most famous mistresses of all time. So here they are:

10. Daisy Wright - Jude Law's children's nanny. While he was engaged to Sienna Miller it was revealed that Jude had been sleeping with his kids' nanny. Jude and Sienna got engaged on Christmas day 2004. They separated shortly after the affair became public knowledge, but had an on again off again relationship until they called it quits for good in November 2006.

9. Ashley Dupre - New York governor Eliot Spitzer's call girl. This married father of 3 daughter was caught being involved with a prostitute. He of course resigned shortly thereafter.

8. Alice Keppel - Edward VII mistress. This married British Socialite gained a reputation for being an adulteress due to her constantly sleeping with highly powerful men that she felt could help her climb the social ladder. Edward VII just happens to be the most well known affair that she had.

7. Marion Davies - William Randolph Hearst's mistress. Hearst was married married to a woman named Millicent when he backed a film called Cecilia of the Pink Roses starring Marion. Marion claims she knew Hearst long before she became an actress. Marion and William lived together for decades but never married because he was married to Millicent the whole time and she was not about to give him a cheap divorce. When Hearst died on August 14th, 1951 he left just over 50% of his fortune to Davies. Fast forward to 10 weeks after Hearst died and church bells are finally ringing for Marion Davies and a man named Horace Brown. They remained married until Marion's death in 1961.

6. Rielle Hunter - Mistress of John Edwards. A former presidential candidate. John was and still is married to his wife Elizabeth who unfortunately has an incurable form of breast cancer, they have 3 children together. The tabloids broke the story of John's affair in October of 2007. John and Rielle met in a bar in New York where she told him some ideas she had for his campaign. She ultimately filmed and produced 4 short promotional videos for his 2008 campaign. Rielle gave birth to a girl on Febuary 27th, 2008, a daughter whom she claims John Edwards fathered, which both him and his wife have denied.

5. Mary Boleyn - Mistress to King Henry VIII. Mary was a maid-of-honour to the King's wife, Catherine, when their affair began. There has been much speculation over the years over the paternity of Mary's children. Many think King Henry was the father of one or both of Mary's children. Ironically enough, Mary had the audacity to name her first born Catherine and her second child Henry.

4. Ann Boleyn - King Henry VIII second wife. In 1528 King Henry and Ann began an affair, after of course he had grown tired of her sister Mary, and while he was still married to Queen Catherine. In 1533 Ann discovered she was pregnant with the King's child, so Ann and Henry quietly married, after that the King's marriage to Catherine was annulled, then finally Ann's and Henry's child, Elizabeth was born. In 1536 Ann was arrested on charges of adultery, incest, and conspiracy to kill the King. Just before Ann was beheaded, it was decided that her marriage to the King was invalid.

3. Camilla Bowles - Second wife to Prince Charles. Prince Charles and Camilla met at a polo match in 1970. They continued an affair for years even after both of them got married to other people. Charles was married to Diana Spencer from 1981 to 1996 and Camilla was married to Andrew Parker Bowles from 1973 to 1995. They both finally got divorces and of course Princess Diana was killed in that horrible car accident. Prince Charles and Camilla were married in April of 2005.

2. Marilyn Monroe - President John F. Kennedy's mistress. Rumors had been swirling that Marilyn was having an affair with either Robert or Jack Kenned, some believe she might have had affairs with both of them. It wasn't until the 1970's, after Marilyn had already been 6 feet under for years, that people started to speculate that she may have had an affair with the late President John F. Kennedy. Marilyn's death will probably never be solved, at least not truly. Some say she commited suicide and some say she was murdered by conspirers who were trying to keep her quiet after her affair with the President ended so that she would not divulge top secret information that she may have learned while being the President's mistress.

1. Monica Lewinsky - Bill Clinton's mistress. During Bill's second term as President of the United States it was revealed that he had a relationship of a somewhat sexual nature with Monica for over a year. At first the President denied the allegations, but later he did come clean and say that though there was never any actual sexual intercourse, he had engaged in oral sex with Monica in the Oval Office along with other foreplay.

That's it for my top 10 most famous mistresses of all time. I hope everybody enjoyed reading my article as much as I enjoyed writing and researching it. On a parting note, let me just leave you with a few words of wisdom: Don't Cheat!!! Even if you are not famous or in politics your girlfriend/ boyfriend/spouse/barber/former high school principal and so on will eventually find out. They somehow always do.
