Caracas: It is the capital and largest city of Venezuela. Some of the well known landmarks of this place are The Caracas East Park, considered as a green paradise in the middle of the city;Casa del Libertador , the birthplace house of Simón Bolívar;

National Pantheon , the final resting place for eminent Venezuelans; The Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex , the most important Theaters of Caracas, Bolivarian museum and several others.

Canaima National Park: Canaima National Park has breathtaking mountains called Tepuys, countless rivers, lakes, waterfalls, forests and savannahs spread like a green sea.To the west of the park is situated the world's highest waterfall, the Angel Falls, which drops over the edge of the Auyantepui Mountain, the largest Tepuy (Table Mountain) in Canaima. Another attraction is Canaima lagoon, which is fed by several small waterfalls. You will also find interesting plants and animals here.To the East you will find the Gran Sabana, a unique place with plenty of rivers, waterfalls, Tepuy etc. The park has 3 million hectares, making it the second largest protected area Venezuuela and sixth in the world.


Andes Mountain: Being one of the longest mountain ranges worldwide, Andes hosts a myriad of environments from dense, tropical cloud forests to rugged, snow-capped peaks. As you stride to higher altitudes of this mountain, you can find running rivers of ice, streams and lakes surrounded by alpine meadows and deciduous forests. The place is ideal for the adventure lovers and they can engage in several activities like horseback riding, trekking, hiking, Para gliding etc. The Sierra Nevada National Park, a man made park is located at the center of the Andes Mountain.

Los Roques: Los Roques is a wonderful place with huge extension of peaceful waters, lagoons, small islands and beaches with white sand and crystalline waters with incredible colors. For its beauty and ecological importance it was declared national park in 1972. It has more than 50 islands and the most important is El Gran Roque. One of the islands, Rasquí, has only a small lodge with a couple of rooms, where you can get the feel of a private island. You can visit "Dos Mesquises" where you can contribute to help preserve the life of turtles. It is also considered a paradise for diving, sailing, fishing and almost all kinds of water sports.

Maracaibo: Maracaibo, known as ‘the beloved land of the sun,’ is the second largest amongst the cities of Venezuela. It is situated near the Maracaibo Lake and is a popular commercial center for the western part of the country. Some of the major attractions of this place are Chiquinquira Basilica with the very first elevator building in all of Venezuela; Maczul, the biggest museum of contemporary art in South America, "Calle del Milagro" (Miracle Street) where people of Zulia pay homage to "La Chinita", virgin and patroness saint; Baralt square, Maracaibo's shopping centre;Vereda del Lago Park, a large lake front park etc.

Puerto la Cruz: Puerto la Cruz is an ideal vacation destination with some of the finest beaches, islands, bays, peninsulas, gulfs and steep cliffs. One of the major attractions of this place, Mochima National Park, is well known all over the world for its exceptionally beautiful underwater world. You can also visit the Pozuelos Bay in Puerto la Cruz that is the tourism hub of this port city. The shopping centers of the place are also worth a visit. The night life is active in Puerto la Cruz.

Llanos: If you want to know more about the great wildlife and experience the scenic beauty of rural Venezuela, Los Llanos is an ideal place. The unmatched flora and fauna of the region attract tourists from all over to this place. The place is a habitat of spectacular wildlife including armadillos, anteaters, porcupines, otters, three-toed sloths, jaguars, pumas, tapirs and capybaras. Hato Piñero is a must see attraction of Llanos, a home to over 350 species of birds and a great variety of mammals and reptiles 

Merida: Mérida, known as "The City of Gentlemen", is located on a plateau formation in the valley of the Chama River, which crosses the full length of the city. Merida has the highest (4.765 meters or 15.630 feet) and longest (12.50 kilometers or 7.70 miles) cable car in the world with the capacity of 36 people seated, plus 10 standing. There are museums and historic spots, markets and shops, 28 parks and a host of other activities such as kayaking, rafting, hiking, biking and gliding in this place. 

Margarita Island: This beautiful island, known as the "Pearl of the Caribbean” is blessed with crisp blue waters and breathtaking scenery. The place is well known for windsurfing and has opportunities to dive and snorkel. Some of the major attractions of this place are Juan Griego, La Restinga Lagoon, National Park andCastle of la Asuncion.
