Toyota new car prices are getting lower with each model year, especially as they bring more production on-line in North America. Since they don't have to ship thousands of vehicles around the world they can become more competitive in this market.

As you can see, there are a wide range of offerings for you to choose from in any price range. It appears that most of the country feels comfortable buying the vehicles with lower Toyota new car prices than the more expensive options. The Toyota Camry is their bestselling car in North America, with over 300,000 vehicles being sold in 2011.

The Toyota Corolla, however, is recognized as the global bestseller. Toyota shipped over 300,000 Corollas, and the model just edged out the Camry by a couple thousand sales. You can see this model on the road all across the country. It is definitely something to consider whether you want a car that is commonly seen, or would you prefer something more unique?

If you get one of the top models then you can be confident that there was enough testing done because if they need to do a car recall then they will need to fix hundreds of thousands of vehicles. Also, if you buy a rare model then your mechanic might not have a lot of experience in fixing that kind of vehicle. All of these things are important to keep in mind when you do your research online.

Remember, the prices in the list above are just for the stock vehicles, and do not include the cost of optional upgrades. The Toyota Corolla starts at just over $16,000, but after a few nice additions the car can easily hit the $20,000 mark. Keep this in mind when you head out car shopping - do you want a higher priced luxury car, but with fewer options?
