Trampoline Safety Tips

Most of the time, the product maker only recommends that there be one kid on the trampoline at a time. This means all the times you have seen multiple children on a trampoline at one time are usually going against the guidelines of the product maker.

It is possible for one child at a time to have fun on a trampoline by themselves. Another rule of thumb is that children should only be allowed to enter onto the trampoline if they are above the age of five, and some manufacturers even recommend not allowing children on until they reach 8 years of age.

Safety net enclosures are also a great thing that can be installed on trampolines to help make sure the user does not take a crash to the ground, and also helps tp protect users from the springs. These typically cost the same amount as the trampoline itself, but are a great investment to consider.

It does not matter even if you purchase larger trampolines; the same rules typically apply. This means the same rules apply for the 8ft, 10ft trampoline, and even the larger 14ft trampolines. Bouncing on any of these should stay as close to the middle as is possible. Foam or PVC type padding should be installed over the springs to keep from sustaining injuries that can be caused from the springs.

There should be a safe way to allow children to enter upon the trampoline, such as a step stool. All visitors and your children's friends shall be made aware of the rules before getting on.

After making sure the safety tips are gone over, your child will love jumping on their trampoline, and know how to do it as safely as possible!
