Let's see some of its features:

The Panda has proven popular with buyers all over the country. Here is what some of them had to say:

"I have been using this Panda Compact Washer for almost three weeks now with both light and heavier loads with GREAT results. It is now *super* convenient to be able
to do almost all of my laundry at home, plus with all costs considered the savings will be VERY significant versus using coin-op machines."

"Exactly what I needed!... The washer is the perfect size to sit on a counter top. I put mine on my kitchen counter next to the sink when I need to do the laundry. The washer is actually fairly lightweight and comes with an easy carry handle, so moving it is not difficult."

"I just received it and have only done about 4 loads in it and I'm very impressed. The machine is made of good materials, a lot of dirt comes out of the clothes, and they smelled very nice and looked clean coming out. You can fit quite a lot of clothes in there too like 8 t-shirts and a bunch of undergarments, and pajamas or a couple pairs of jeans and shirts."

So there you go - the Panda portable washer works and seems to be great value at under $100.

2) Wonderwash - The Laundry Alternative

This is the unpowered portable washer I spoke of earlier. As this suggests, you don't need to be ANYWHERE near electricity to use this little beauty! All it takes to wash a 5lb load is a turn of the crank, and it patented design ensures your clothing is tumbled and thoroughly washed under pressure. And NO power bill! Perfect for travelling in the wilderness or off on a boating trip. Even in a motor home parked up somewhere remote and beautiful, but without electricity.

Here are some of its features:

  • Washes a 5-lb. load super clean in just a couple of minutes.
  • Has a patented pressure system that forces detergent into the fabric at high speed for a fast, efficient, economic and very easy wash
  • Is ideal for campers, single persons and even for the housewife with small frequent loads like hand washables and diapers.
  • Is ideal for delicates such as woolens, silks, knitted dresses and cashmere garments.
  • Uses far less water than even hand washing.Uses no electricity (hand turn) and therefore economically sound, and great for environment.

Gee, just the fact of the environmental benefits alone makes this a sensible purchase.

Like the Panda portable washer above, the Wonderwash has plenty of satisfied customers. Here's what a selection said about it:

"Wonderwash is perfect for small places and for doing small laundry loads between laundromat visits. Can do almost all your laundry if single and just don't want to use
community washers."

"Best little washer in town ... This washer is ingenious and simple, and by itself, manages to wash ALL of my, and my husband's clothes, every single week. Our clothes have NEVER been so clean. I attribute that to it's simple, yet highly effective pressure system."

"Have Used my Wonder Washer 5 months now GREAT ... I bought a Wonder Washer from Laundry Alternatives, actually I have purchased two. One for a friend who also loves hers."

So folks are even buying a second one for their friends!

In the great outdoors, feeling clean and looking great, you just gotta love

these portable washers!
