Paris may be famous for being the most romantic city for couples and honeymooners. However, the city is also great for visiting families too! There are a lot of places in Paris that are family-friendly, which includes famous tourist spots, shops and restaurant. A travelling family will surely enjoy their time sightseeing around the famous streets of the city, and eating delicious French cuisine. Family trips to Paris will definitely not be as boring as what others thought it would be when travelling with kids. Here’s a list of family-friendly activities you can do when visiting Paris.

  • Check what the craze about the Eiffel Tower is. Visiting the Eiffel Tower while in Paris should always be the number one to-do list for any tourists. What has always been great about this structure is the view on top. Here, you’ll get to view the beauty of Paris in daylight, and the sparkling lights of the city at night. There are also souvenir shops and restaurants you can check out here. 

    Fun fact: Did you know that on top of the Eiffel Tower is a Wifi hotspot so with travellers that don't have internet data but rely on Wifi hotspots you can now check in on Facebook on top of the Eiffel Tower like I did.


Notre Dame Cathedral

  • Attend services at the Notre Dame Cathedral. Or just sight-see. The church is famous for its Gothic architectural design, and stain glass windows. You can use audio guides while touring inside this majestic cathedral. If your kids are up for it, you can all climb the towers and check out the Emmanuel Bell, the church’s biggest bell.

  • Visit Mona Lisa and the Egyptian mummies at the Louvre Museum. If your kids love the arts and seeing artifacts, the Louvre Museum is the perfect place for them. The museum contains vast treasures and art collections coming from different periods. You can join guided tours or visit the galleries with your family through an audio guide. There are a lot of tours or themes you can choose from so make sure to pick up a tour plan at the entrance.

  • Or the Cité des Enfants. One of the most famous children’s museums in the globe, Cité des Enfants houses different exhibits both kids and adults will enjoy. The exhibits are interactive, and your kids will surely enjoy figuring out how to solve each station. You will surely have a hard time dragging your kids away from this place. Make sure to arrive early if you plan to visit each gallery. 

Parc des Buttes-Chaumont

  • Relax in Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. This park is known to be one of the most romantic parks in Paris with its fake crags and lakes, waterfall, bridges, palm trees, and giant cedars. The park even has a cave with fake crystal formations inside. Kids can enjoy pony rides and play on the grounds. Families can also have picnics here, or eat at nearby restaurants. Finish your day in the park by going up the Temple de la Sybille, to view the whole Paris. 

These are only a few of the places you should visit when in Paris with your family. Remember, trips to Paris would never be as fun as it is without your loved ones. Bring your family along on your next trip to this wonderful city of Love.
