The movie Tron: Legacy is an American science fiction film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and released in Theaters December 17, 2010.

It is a sequel to the 1982 futuristic science fiction film Tron, about a hacker who is literally abducted into the world of a computer and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program.

Tron: Legacy picks-up after twenty years, when Sam Flynn, who has been haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin, sets out on a pursuit to try and discover what happened to him. While searching for clues, Sam is suddenly transported to the digital world of The Grid. Sam is reunited with his father and together they embark on a journey to return home.

These two science fiction films take place in a futuristic setting and have sparked the interests and imaginations of so many people, including Scott Galloway. He designed a Tron-inspired LED watch he calls the "7RON." In designing it, Scott wanted "Something that would get noticed when it lights up," and get noticed it has!

This new modern style watch has been featured in the blog of Tokyo Flash, a company known for their unusual and sometimes "Ridiculous" timepieces. But these new Tron-inspired watches are anything but ridiculous, they are original and capture the spirit of the Tron films.

The 7RON has a sleek black band with brightly colored LED rings. The two rings styled on the Tron disc represent minutes (outer) and hours (inner). The break in the rings represents the time in a normal clock face layout. Once you get accustomed to it, the watch is very simple to read.

In the 1982 movie, the main character Tron says the line "It's all in the wrists," and with the new Tron-inspired watches, you may catch yourself saying the same thing! The design of this watch is definitely eye catching!

Before you get your checks and credit cards out, however, you should know these watches are not available (at least not yet). They are only a concept which many people hope will become a reality.

People who were interested in purchasing the 7RON watches launched a campaign to vote, on the Tokyo Flash website, for them to become available. The votes have been numerous, however, the site has now closed the option for people to vote.

The 7RON watches are so popular they will probably be a part of the Tron merchandise one day soon. But for now, all we can do is wait and hope.
