Turkey is a great country to go on holiday. I have been to Istanbul a few times and I love it.
SSSSHHHHH.... Don't tell everyone what a wonderful place Turkey is. We don't want it to become overrun with tourists and suffer the same fate as Spain, The Canaries, The Balearics and the Greek Islands.
Turkey is my favourite holiday destination (within a 5 hour flight from the UK) and there is one place in particular I go which is unspoiled by tourism.
