Two step strategy to lose weight

Sometimes things are simpler than they look. There is a lot of fuzz about weight loss and how you can lose weight fast. The truth is much simpler than advertised. Weight loss is a process that takes time and needs a lot of patients but it is not so difficult to achieve.

First of all you need to have a strong will. If you really want to lose weight, then you are going to make it. How you are going to make it? Well, you need to have the proper weight loss help and not get fouled by marketers. In a recent research among people who managed to lose 30 kg (on average) with out getting the weight back it was shown that these people had these common characteristics:

1. Regular Exercise

People who were successful in losing weight used to exercise regularly on a weekly basis. On average they were burning 3000 calories from exercise. If you translate this to hours, it is about 1 hour of moderate exercise per day. Moderate exercise could mean walking, jogging, aerobic exercise.
There is not reported case of people losing weight and not getting it back that they are not exercising. So, if you want to take your weight loss seriously then start exercising. If you do not exercise then you may lose a few pounds and once you stop the terrible diet you are following you will definitely gain the weight back and possibly more.

2. Faith in your self

People who lost weight had this special characteristic. They had great self control and were much disciplined. By self control we mean that you should monitor your self and be ready to take corrective actions were necessary. These people used to weight their self every week and if something was not according to plan they took corrective actions. This of course does not mean that you will punish your self; on the contrary, this means that you are ready to control your self and put it back to the right track and not the other way around. To achieve this you need to have a clear weight loss plan with easy targets that can be met. If you have a clear plan then the only thing you have to do is to make sure that you follow the plan, and for sure the good results will not take long to appear.
