Oh boy, these are undoubtedly the gift that is top of my Christmas list! I'm in love! The Ugg Australia Kensington Boots are absolutely my 'most desired winter boot' choice. I write a lot about how I tend to prefer Emu boots, compared to Ugg boots, but this winter, it's these leather womens Ugg Boots that have me drooling.

The Ugg Kensingtons are a real 'fashion Uggs' look, and are available in either black, olive (a dirty khaki green) or toast (a dark brown), and are available for women or children. I like the black best, simply because they will go with most of my clothes without any problem.

The boots feature an adjustable strap at the top, and another just above the ankle. The women's Ugg boots are about 10" high, meaning that they sit around mid calf on most people.

What's really nice on these boots is that rather than the traditional stitched on fabric Ugg logo at the base of the heel, these feature a raised metal plate with the logo on - it looks really cool. The boots are made from an oiled leather upper, which has a distressed finish, again this adds to the high fashion look of these boots. The boots are fully sheepskin lined, as you'd expect from Ugg Boots Australia, meaning toasty toes through winter is a sure thing, and they feature an EVA sole and heel for winter grip and durability. The heel is about 1" high.

As with most Ugg boots, these tend to run a size larger than regular shoes, so it's advisable to order them half a size or a full size down.

Military style boots are big news in fashion this season, and Ugg are capitalizing on this with their own take on the trend. I also like the idea of owning leather Uggs, rather than sheepskin ones. It is a nice change to my winter boot wardrobe and singles the boots out as different and unique.

Emu Australia also offer a biker/military inspired boot this winter - Aurora - which is a more sophisticated take on a biker boot. For me, my choice is simply for casual wear, so I think the Ugg style delivers for my needs.
