Why Drink a Healthy Fruit and Spinach Fruit Smoothie?

The ultimate healthy fruit and spinach smoothie with protein is a jam packed green drink that provides healthy calories, vitamins, minerals, fiber, Omega 3-6-9 fatty acids, and more.  Fruit and spinach smoothies are drinks that make great meal replacement drinks, diet drinks, raw food diet drinks (if adapted a little).  Healthy fruit and spinach smoothies use protein and others ingredients as a way to get healthy, lose weight, control sugar, or do whatever you want.

At some point take your health into your own hands.  Vegetables sound better lathered in butter, but with obestity (adult and child) plus the chronic health conditions, it is time to take control and get healthy.  The excellent thing about these ultimate fruit and spinach smoothie recipes is that they are healthy and taste good.  Drink one smoothie daily and adapt it as necessary as a breakfast and lunch smoothie.

What I know about making a smoothie is that if it tastes good then I'm going to drink it, but if it's not good then I don't want it. Taste buds count. The great thing about making a fruit and spinach green fruit smoothie, or just a fruit smoothie and skipping the greens, is that you make it to meet your needs.

Easy and Healthy Fruit Smoothies with Spinach - Green Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies offer important nutrients. It took awhile to get come up with this fruit and spinach green fruit smoothie recipe. In these fruit smoothies there is no added sugar, ever. Fruit has its own sugar in it called fructose, a sugar better than table sugar. Even if you use the diet sugars do not put them in these recipes. Diet sugars are not healthy either, especially aspartame. You'll find you can vary the green fruit smoothie's sweetness with the ingredients.

Ultimate Fruit and Spinach Smoothie Recipe with Protein:

1 frozen banana
3-4 frozen strawberries
1/4 cup Vanilla Yogurt
1/4 cup Plain Yogurt (or do half/half using Vanilla and Plain to lower calories)
1/4 cup Almond Milk or Coconut Milk (try one of these non dairy if possible, or soy)
2 TBS frozen blueberries
2 TBS frozen raspberries
3 TBS frozen spinach
1/4 to 1/2 apple
1 TBS Peanut Butter (no salt added peanut butter is the best - great source of protein)
1 TBS ground flax

Mix in blender.  This fruit and spinach smoothie recipe has approximately 400-500 calories in it, but it makes approximately 24 ounces.  This smoothie recipe is enough for three smoothies, so if it makes too much adapt the ingredients.  It is filling and takes the place of breakfast or another meal. If you have never made a smoothie before then just pick a few ingredients and add on to the recipe.

Experiment with Healthy Smoothie Ingedients

Experiment with ingredients.  Healthy fruit and green smoothie recipes are adaptable for personal taste and needs.  Change up the recipe until you find the ultimate healthy smoothie that satisfies you.  Try adding Spirulina if you want a super green drink. Celery, frozen squash, tofu, carrots, mango, papaya, and pears are also healthy smoothie ingredients.  Buy Mountain High Yoghurt for smoothies with yogurt because it is the healthiest.  Mountain High Yoghurt uses fructose instead of other sugars.  Flavored yogurt is a source of calories and sugar, so pay attention to the labels.

Use natural, no salt added peanut butter to avoid excess salt and sugar. Just because the peanut butter label says "natural" does not mean that it has healthy ingredients.   Read the labels and find no sugar added peanut butter.  Peanut butter should just have the peanut butter and oil on top.  Dump the oil if you want.  It lowers the calories and tastes the same.  Jif "Natural" Peanut Butter has salt, sugar, and other ingredients, so it is very important to read labels if you are trying to eat healthy.  Trader Joe's is a good place to buy peanut butter. Almond Butter is a healthy alternative to peanut butter.

Kid-Friendly Smoothie Recipe - Spinach Smoothies Kids Will Drink

The ultimate healthy fruit and spinach smoothie recipe is kid-friendly.  Smoothies are a great way to get kids to eat spinach and intake other important nutrients that they otherwise would not touch.  Use smaller amounts of spinach if you think it's going to taste bad.  Try using this smoothie as a healthy breakfast for kids before schools. You can add spinach to fruit smoothies without the taste of spinach as long as you follow the steps.  You cannot taste the spinach because other ingredients are used to counter the taste.  Use Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, and apple so kids and stubborn adults drink the ultimate smoothie.  If you don't like one of these ingredients, don't use it. Add other fruits that you like. Experiment. Kids will drink these fruit and spinach smoothies.

Make sure to use organic spinach and strawberries or frozen fruit and vegetables. Buy frozen fruit, frozen spinach, and frozen vegetables because they have lower amounts of pesticides.  Buying frozen ingredients is a good alternative for those who cannot afford organic fruit and vegetables. Another way to save money  is to grow fruit and vegetables in a back porch garden. Container gardens are perfect for any yard or patio.  You can grow organic strawberries and other vegetables then freeze them for use throughout the year. Growing your own garden full of smoothie ingredients ensures that you always have organic fruit and vegetables.
