Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is one of the most anticipated games of this year, for many PlayStation 3 owns and fans alike. Uncharted 2 has received mixed impressions, however, depending on what type of gamer was playing it. Being one of Naughty Dogs latest creations, it sets out to be one of their most ambitious yet, being said to make use of 100% of the PlayStation 3's power. There were a couple hoping that this would flop, and others who are skeptical of what this game has to offer. But as the Uncharted 2 demo was released, many of the ill thoughts of the games was dashed away.

Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition Announced by Naughty Dog earlier this month gives an exclusive edition for the gamers to look forward to. Actually, for those of you who own the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo, you will actually be eligible to win a copy of this game. It comes with an art book, a collectors case, a replica dagger from the game, and autographs from the Naughty Dog team. All you have to do is play the demo over this weekend. There will be 30 winners to this contest, and you will be contacted later throughout the month.

But onto my actual impressions of this game, it seems that this game will be nothing short of amazing. I am pretty sure that this game will end up being a nominee, if not the actual winner, for Game of The Year 2009, surely. The single player content of this game is simply amazing, with a great story line, and engaging game play. I applaud Naughty Dog for staying true to those who still actually like to play single player, instead of just focusing on the multiplayer content and leaving those people who still enjoy the single player out to dry.

They improved upon the artificial intelligence in the game, allowing the enemies to actually make detailed searches for you if they catch a glimpse of you. They are more persistent and actually pose a threat, unlike many other games that have mindless drones coming after you. The animation in this game, as well as the amazing graphics and attention to detail, is something to really be enjoyed. For those of you with top notch hd-tv's, you will certainly be enjoying yourself while playing this.

The multiplayer content is where Uncharted 2 shines for sure. It has really made itself unique in terms of content. Though the actual game modes are not so special, the game play is what makes it interesting. In the multiplayer, you will be able to do everything Nathan himself can do in single player. Meaning you will be able to hang off of ledges, signs, climb up walls, and all of that. Which really twists things up when you are in a fire fight up against others online. Taking cover as you seek to achieve your goal, which is pretty cool. There are multiple modes you will be able to make use of, so you most likely will not be getting bored of it any time soon.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has a lot to offer, and those of you who were interested in the original, you will definitely find your opinion of this game to be greatly improved. Naughty Dog has improved this game ten fold, and it looks to be one of the best games and experiences that the PlayStation 3 will have to offer for a long time. If you have actually read what I have wrote, then you most likely know that my Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Impressions are nothing but positive, and I recommend all PlayStation 3 fans to keep an eye out for it.
