If you have a patio at home and your haven't installed lighting fixtures on it that will let you take advantage of your patio both day and night, you're not getting the full use out of it. It may seem like hard work to light up your entire patio, but in reality it's very easy if you use solar powered lights. With solar lights, you won't have to run any wires, install any transformers, or even find a plug! All that you will have to do is place the light somewhere in the sun and forget about it. Sounds good right? Here are a few great options for unique patio lights you can add to your home.

One unique type of solar patio light fixtures that you can add to your home are rock lights. These lights are fixtures that are designed to look like rocks the might naturally occur on your landscape. A solar panel on the top of the rock provides its power. The main benefit to these lights is that they let you hide your light fixtures. This means that you can take people's attention off of the light fixture itself and keep it on the object being lighted. It also makes your yard look more natural.

Another great option for unique patio lighting is a solar patio umbrella. These lights attach to either the post of your umbrella or to its veins and are a great way to provide some lighting to your patio quickly and easily. Since they're mounted to an umbrella and are solar powered, you don't even need to take any time to install these lights! You simply place the right into your table and forget about them. Since the lights are attached to the top of your umbrella as well, you get a ton of functional light right were you need it. These lights are useful, look great, and make a great addition to any patio.

A final type of interesting patio light that you can install is recessed lighting. These lights won't work in every patio, if you already have concrete set you won't be able to install them, but they can add a professional finish to any patio. These are small LED lights that are mounted into the ground and shine their light straight up. They take a little longer to install but they can be worth it.

There are many different kinds of interesting patio light that you can install on your property, and these are just three of the best. Start thinking about how you can incorporate these into your property today.
