Neck Lanyards

While you might never have thought of it a neck lanyard is a convenient way to keep small, easily misplaced, necessary items close at hand. They come in a variety of lengths, widths and colors so they will match any outfit. They are particularly useful for keeping keys with you. You can actually have a rather large collection of keys on a lanyard and not have to worry about wearing holes in your clothes that happens when you keep that many keys in your pocket.

A bright-colored lanyard might be a good present for any elderly person that you know that is growing somewhat forgetful and keeps locking the house door, but forgetting the house key. A fluorescent pink or yellow neck lanyard hanging on a hook next to the door may be enough to jog their memory and help them grab the key on their way out and re-establish some of their lost confidence from forgetting things.

They also work great on vacation for a place to keep a small digital camera handy, yet not get in the way. Holding a camera can be tedious and the possibility of setting it down in the bathroom or restaurant and losing it is completely eliminated when it is attached to a lanyard and hanging around your neck.

The same is also true for reading glasses. Those darn things are never at arms length when you need them and not very handy to keep folding up and sticking in a pocket. Vanity prevents you from going the bifocal route, but a neck lanyard will keep them close and you can jazz the lanyard up by going with a team logo, or favorite movie theme or just about anything.

The ever-present flash drive that stores important documents, such as a resume or an expense report, is comfortably kept on a lanyard and then often stuck in a shirt pocket. They are almost never left in someone else's computer this way nor are they set down and lost on someone else's desk. Keep your personal documents safe and secure by hanging them around your neck.

Neck lanyards are a great tool for remembering to take things with you and then not losing them while you are out and about. The come in many different colors and shapes and can be customized with logos, patterns and other designs to show support for your favorite team or whatever your passion may be.
