Use These Feng Shui Symbols for Good Luck

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Feng shui came into being over 3 centuries ago in China. Feng means wind and shui means water. In Chinese culture, wind and water are associated with good health and feng shui aims at harmonizing the energies in any given space to bring good health, prosperity and fortune. Here, we will take a look at a few feng shui symbols for good luck.

It is auspicious to have a feng shui dragon in any part of your home. Considered to be one of the most powerful symbols of luck in Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol of strong yang or male energy. Red, green and golden dragons are especially considered to be powerful bringers of wealth and abundance. A pearl or crystal in the claw further adds to attracting positive chi into your life.

Avoid placing a dragon in areas such as the bathroom or too high above eye level. It should ideally be placed in an open space facing towards the house.

Fu Dogs

Fu Dogs are symbols of protection in Chinese culture. Referred to as Imperial Guard Lions, you will often find these placed in front of temples and palaces. While the male Dog holds a globe in his hand, the female holds a cub. Together, they symbolize the most powerful symbols of protection and guard homes from negative energies.

Also called Buddha's lions, these Fu Dogs should be placed at the entrance to attract family wealth and enhance your social status.

Mystic Knot

The mystic knot or the endless knot is one of the eight magical auspicious objects in Buddhism. It is a combination of six times the infinity symbol and is a powerful feng shui cure for a life full of good luck and fortune.

The mystic knot is often used in the form of an amulet to attract uninterrupted good luck and abundance without any setbacks or misfortunes in each and every aspect of your life.

The tortoise is one of the four guardians in feng shui and is a powerful symbol for improving positive energy and protecting against negative energies.

Place a statue of the tortoise at the back of your house, office or garden for bringing more positive energy and good luck.

Wind Chimes

Wind chimes are a very popular feng shui cure which can be placed in the balcony, the patio or your garden. These are often combined with traditional symbols such as the mystic knot to bring an abundant flow of positive energy.

While buying a wind chime, try and go for one that has six or eight bells. These are considered to be the most beneficial in attracting good luck and bringing prosperity to the residents of the house.

These feng shui symbols of good luck and fortune are quite powerful in attracting success in each and every aspect of your life. These not only bring positive chi into your house and office but are also delightful pieces of decoration as well. So, use these beautiful good luck symbols and bring an abundance of opportunities and success into your life!
