I am Melissa Harker Ridenour, and I am a children's book author and a published freelance writer and expert in the use of writing to inform and entertain.
My first book is entitled, What Would You Do? A Kid's Guide to Staying Safe in a World of Strangers. The book empowers children to take a proactive role in staying safe from abduction and predator harm. It can be acquired through the publisher - www.headlinekids.com, through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Follett, Ingrams, and Baker & Taylor.
My second book, The Bully and the Booger Baby: A Cautionary Tale, was released in June, 2013. The Bully and the Booger Baby: A Cautionary Tale is not only a fun and imaginative school story about a big bully, the kids he picks on, and a little boy robot who tries to lead the charge to stop the bullying problem in their school, but it is also an informational book. It includes two sections of researched and effective strategies and resources for children, parents, and teachers to help them better deal with today’s ever-increasing bullying problem. It is available in paperback through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It is also available in Amazon's Kindle format and Barnes & Noble's Nook format.
Useful information about both books, as well as resources for children and parents, can be accessed at my author website, Melissa Harker Ridenour Books - www.AuthorMelissaHarkerRidenour.com.
I have a Child Safety blog that can be accessed at http://childsafety-melissa.blogspot.com. I also have an anti-bullying blog that can be accessed at http://thebullyandtheboogerbabyblogbuzz.blogspot.com/
I have many years of education, training, and experience in the writer’s art. I have written magazine articles, newsletters, and both fiction and non-fiction manuscripts. I've both designed and written copy for business brochures and newsletters, and created Power Point presentations for businesses. I'm currently designing corporate websites, as well. I am accomplished at most types of creative writing tasks, including poetry and fiction.Write Solution Ink, my freelance writing business, offers corporations, organizations, or individuals the necessary proficiency and experience to meet outsourcing needs with impressive finished product. Reasonable rates for quality written product are assured. Write Solution Ink can be accessed via www.writesolutionink.com.
