Visual Deep Sky Observing: Galaxies
In the final installment of my visual deep sky series, I touch on a class of objects most deep sky astronomer enthusiast spend their time on. These objects are so numerous, you could spend an entire lifetime seeking them out and observing them, even in the smallest of telescopes. One catch though is that they are mostly faint and require dark skies, something which is hard to come by these days. I will discuss the brighter examples and what to expect from them.
