Chuck Norris jokes are a widespread, Internet originated, sensation that take the form of hugely exaggerated claims and facts about Chuck Norris's strength, ferociousness, sexual potency and masculinity that have no basis in truth for Chuck Norris or any human. The more outrageous the claim, the funnier and more memorable the joke becomes. The rising popularity of the jokes and their association with the star have somewhat affected Chucks very reputation, whether negatively or not is up for debate. Ultimately they have become ubiquitous with the star and could even become as popular and long lasting as knock knock jokes.

Inishshark (Shark Island) - The story of an Island's demise

Inishshark is an island lying 5 miles of the west coast of Connemara in Ireland. Once inhabited, the island is now barren with only the ruins of several houses and a single church left to commemorate a long gone community of people. Once home to 100's, the last remaining 23 inhabitants were evacuated to the mainland in 1960 after a number of unfortunate deaths, bad weather, a poor harbour and a governments decision on the fate of an increasingly isolated community.
