I am a video editor by profession and owned a successful production house in Zimbabwe, along with my husband and partner. I also became an avid gardener and plant fanatic when we bought our house and a garden which had no trees, no flowers, nothing except long grass.
I had a wonderful garden back in Zimbabwe, built up over twenty years,  and have now started up a tiny little garden in California. I'm enchanted by the new plants I'm able to grow, but also delighted at the number of familiar plants from Southern Africa that are available here.
I love exploring the areas around my new home, full of beaches, hills and wild flowers. I have a blog at www.groundcoversandgardening.com where I write about my experiences as a gardener and as an immigrant gardener trying to garden in a much smaller space.
