Professional Life:
I am a lifelong, professional salesperson, sales manager, digital marketing pro and entrepreneur. Selling in Audio Visual, Telecom, Auto and Desktop Video (back when that was really hard), has been a real pleasure. Helping others through training and mentorship has been a bigger one. It's always a battle between my need to help educate customers and employees with that drive to start a business, find a product, to create that next big opportunity!
Personal Life:
Married, to the same woman no less, for more than 28 years. 2 fabulous daughters, one just graduated from college and about to save the world one family at a time,  and one just married and building her own online empire: www.jasminewanders.com. While working and living I've managed to squeeze in some time to become a martial artist, though that's a bit dusty, an avid reader, especially of Philosophy and motivational books, and even found some time to enjoy the beautiful and under-appreciated Tampa Bay area.
Writing:
Inspired by Jasmine and able to devote a little time to carry on the family writing tradition, I've decided to share my random incites, whether they want me to or not, and try and generate some passive income at the same time.
If you find yourself similarly motivated, InfoBarrel will take anyone (obvioiusly), just make sure you sign up through me so I'll personally benefit from your hours of work! http://www.infobarrel.com/signup.php?ref_id=58246
I've also just started my own experiment in niche site marketing, a quest that brings most of us to Infobarrel in the first place. Please visit http://www.tampaflattractions.com and http://www.thetampaguide.com and leave me a note to let me know you did!

Why Tampa Bay is Better than Orlando for Vacation

We get people visiting Florida for a variety of reasons; to thaw out from a cold winter in the Northeast or in the UK, to bring the kids to meet the Disney characters, see Harry Potter in person or to hit the beach and relax in the sun, or maybe to launch that Caribbean cruise or to blow off some steam at a famous Spring Break beach. They could even be scouting for that condo in the sunshine where they can retire or just come back to every year.

2 Ways We Make Monthly Income from Owning Stocks

Most people think that when they invest in their favorite stock or the favorite stock of the guy down the street you decided to pile into, that they must just sit and wait for that stock to go up or down. That the only way they will make money is if the stock goes up, and that they can't collect any of that cash until they sell. We have found 2 ways to make income from stocks that the average investor can actually. We're a bit obsessed with squeezing every dollar out of our hard-earned savings, so we watch our investments on a daily basis, but these two really only require a few hours per month. I will use actual examples of trades we've done and stocks we own, but keep in mind that we are not professional stock brokers, fund managers or insurance salespeople and offer none of the following information as advice.

3 Reasons Why Pleated Cellular Window Shades are Better than Blinds

There are a few different kinds of inexpensive blinds available from the big home improvement stores, and their only advantage is that they're readily available. After installing everything from vertical blinds (hello 1985), the cheap metal "apartment blinds" and no fewer than a dozen of the faux wood, plantation style blinds in several properties I feel like I have the experience to make a solid recommendation towards another direction.

How to Stay Out of the Attic and Install Recessed Lighting

Installing recessed lighting is fairly simple, but electrical work is usually the last thing only the most experienced DIY'ers will try. But once you've turned the power OFF and made sure you're not violating any local codes by doing minor work like this yourself, it's really not so tough. Matching a white wire with another white wire, black with black, and the green or naked copper to a ground screw; simple. The tough part is actually pulling the wire from one spot to the other! Use a push pull rod.

Why Salespeople Hate CRM

There's a long running debate about the relative benefits of CRM (Customer Resource Management) software and whether helps or hinders a salesperson's productivity. The debate is principally between the front line salespeople and field sales Managers on one side and Management on the other. We won't discuss the individual applications here, but you'll recognize the names; salesforce.com, Goldmine, ACT! By Sage, Syspro, etc. If you're part of Management, the following may help you position CRM in a positive light, or at least understand some of the issues you will be facing. As a salesperson, you may want to read on to see the Management perspective on CRM so you can decide for yourself whether or not to resist.
